It's to "bump" the post back up to the top of the recent posts to make it easier to find for later :)

You look like you are listening to music

I like that advice bump!

I would wear it with tights underneath or a pair of skinny jeans. It's just too short for me to be comfortable in (I would worry all night about showing my hoo-ha). Looks awesome on you though and is perfectly suitable for the hubby ;). So I'm curious did you make a decision on how/ where you are going to wear it?

Took a whole week off while I was in Mexico. I didn't lose progress but I struggled with getting back into logging the first few days.

@nsblue....I live in Halifax, I think I read your story in the paper. I just wanted to say congrats to you, that is a major accomplishment!

Given that your net calories is in the 1300 a day range and you have lost 9 pounds, it seems you have made slow but steady progress. You don't want to go much below 1300 a day IMO. You don't have much left to lose so the closer you get to your goal the slower it will come off. Keep pushing ahead and good luck :)

I've gotten this comment from a few people lately (meant in good faith I think). They look at me like I'm nuts when I say I want to lose a little bit more (5 pounds more, maybe 10 depending on how I look-at the very most 15). Nothing wrong with wanting a six pack and setting goals : ).

I don't think mine was due to weight ( I was approx 135-140lbs) but I was walking on a side walk in my brand spanking new sexy boots when suddenly the heel totally broke off. One minute I felt pretty damn hot and the next I felt like an idiot as I hobbled quickly to my car hoping not to be seen. LOL!

I went through this with my man. I let myself go when we first started dating and after a while I wanted to get back into the good shape I used to be in. He was jealous of the time I spent at the gym/ working out instead of with him. After multiple talks and me finally (and very honestly) telling him he had to get some…

I'm assuming (judging by your profile pic) that you are in the normal BMI range. If that's the case for you (as it was for me) your goal weight loss per week should probably be in the 0.5-1 pound range. I was aiming for 1-2 pounds per week initially until I realized I was creating too great of a calorie deficit. Read up on…

I did Ripped in 30 to help get ready for a trip down south and it definitely helped me to tone up. You'll love it!

Here's the proof eating breakfast is important. The american journal of epidemiology published a study stating those who did not eat breakfast were 4.5 times more likely to be obese. As well, these people gained more weight on average than those who ate a good breakfast. It's a fact not a myth.…

How long have you been at this?
-
Awesome results!!! You should be super proud, someone else already said it but you did a fab job on that stubborn below the belly fat, well done!
-
Who are you sad for and why?
-
In the same boat, not sure if I have much more to lose now but mostly trying to tone up :). I started at around 140 and I'm 5'6'

Since we're stating obvious things here...this doesn't belong on the introduce yourself boards :)

She also has an extreme shed and shred workout that just came out (45 mins long I believe). I might do it for the month of march (once I finish ripped in 30). :)

No need to be rude I think the point the previous poster was trying to make was VERY obvious to the rest of us. AKA a pound of muscle looks denser than fat. I think we are all intelligent enough to know that a pound= a pound regardless of what we are comparing

I have to make the choice to do hot yoga or go to a super bowl party...sigh. The bf will be disappointed if I don't go but I would rather do hot yoga.

Hi I'm a 23 year old female too, add me if you like :)

If you're not eating your exercise calories your body may be going into starvation mode. It may sound crazy that you need to eat more to lose weight but lots of ppl on this site have proved it's true. Good luck to you :)

It's the only way to keep sane and realistically make this a "life change" instead of a "diet" :)
