Soda - a Diet Coke or Pepsi. Really hard at work as we have free soda. I also miss chocolate. Also have a ton of it all around at work. And I am a major stress eater and used to drain the M&M bowl when tired and stressed. Been soda and choco free for over three months and it keeps reminding myself not to to go there.

I actually had thought about it for about 5 yrs. But my doctor wanted to try other things first. When she mentioned it last October - I was excited, scared, the whole gamut of emotions. I saw the surgeon, went thru all the testing and insurance denied it based on no medically managed weight loss in my file. So I went on…

Before the lapband surgery I drank upwards to 80ozs a day. Since surgery 6weeks ago - I feel good if I get on 48. It was so bad after surgery I ended up the ER with dehydration. I hope that it won't always be a struggle once I figure this all out.

Yes - i call it rebound gain. I am actually going thru that right now. But I get back on board with my diet and exercise and just 'plod' along. Good luck. Don't be too disappointed if some comes back. Losing it fast and due to recovery can be hard - but you will lose anything you have gained back.

My husband about 4 weeks ago - asked me (as I was about to leave for work) if I wanted to go shopping that weekend. When I asked him why - he said that my clothes were too baggy. And admitted after I bought a couple of things - that the outfit I wore that day was so baggy and unflattering! Well we also went thru all my…

A couple of things - I was walking past my neighbors house and their 3 or 4 yr old son - ran up to me and yelled - 'You're Fat'. I just walked on. then my niece when she was 4 called me fat! My poor sister had a huge conversation with her and felt so bad for me. Today my niece (13ys) is my biggest supporter in my lifestyle…
