Yep...greasy foods will make my stomach hurt so bad! My body also got that way with pretty much all junk food and eventually meat. I fully believe that our bodies tell us what it needs and doesn't and when the body rejects something it doesn't need it or like it! I haven't had fried food in so long because it gets bad.…

When I'm feeling like that I cut out all the "junk" I've been eating, which compared to how I used to eat is not that bad, but still I need to watch it. I drink lots of water, and eat whole grains, fresh fruits, nuts and seeds, and fresh vegetables. I limit coffee and dairy and I do not take any chemicals to help with…

Thank you so much! It has been slow and steady - it has been in the making since January 2008 - but things got serious in October 2009, then I was on a plateau for about a year until about July of this year...it has been a very interesting ride, but totally worth it! I started to eat clean and then I started walking, spin…

Thanks everyone! If you can believe it you can achieve it! Don't let those plateaus get to you!

So true! We squander away so much time worrying about this stuff. EAT and ENJOY it!!! It can be one day or one meal; however, you want to look at it. You have a healthy breakfast and lunch or dinner and then get after it. Get in a workout if it will help you out. It won't derail everything that you have worked so hard…

You will totally do it! Once we have the shift in our minds from losing weight to lifestyle change we can get to our goals and hopefully never return. Well done!

I eat a lot of good carbs and things have been fine for me. Here are things that I eat regulary... breakfast - 1 egg, with 2-3 egg whites - boiled or scrambled made with spray - a mixed berry smoothie with frozen berries and tangerine juice or a piece of fruit - a whole wheat bagel or english muffin with really good peanut…

I became a vegetarian about 3 1/2 months ago. Mine was a gradual thing. My body slowly was no longer "craving" meat and then when I would eat it my body felt "depressed" and my stomach took a beating from it. Since it was done over time I haven't really had any cravings. Usually a beef craving for me, when I was still…

Thanks everyone for all of your support!

You ROCK!!! This story is so inspirational!!! Our journeys are for the most part all the same - while we may have travelled a different path to get there it all lead us to the same place. A realization that we can NO LONGER keep living this way. This is one day at a time...and you're doing it! Thanks so much for sharing…

Hey there...I started eating clean and that helped me to start slowly changing my eating habits which took time. I've also done a ton of different workouts from walking to boot camps. Currently I'm doing hot yoga and Pilates. It was really all about finding what worked for me, which is why I tried so many different things,…

I used to have sleep apnea. After losing all of my weight I don't have it anymore and I stopped using my CPAP machine and it's awesome! The CPAP machine did help me sleep A LOT; however, when I would wake up in the morning I would have these indentions on my face from the mask, so I would have to get up early to take it…
