Thanks for the advice. Gonna give it a whirl, and for the record, I avoided the ice cream;) LOL

You can do this:wink: Just take it one day at a time. Log everything you put into your mouth! lol. This keeps you accountable and honest with yourself. Remember, it's about a lifestyle change. Feel free to add me. Good luck on your journey.

When I hit my plateau I had been consistently losing 2 lbs a week for 2 and a half months so I was ready to give up when the scale did not move for 3 solid weeks:( I read about having a spike day where you basically eat like double your calories and then the next day you lower your calories again. Mentally, I had a real…

2 weeks later and FINALLY I have lost 2 inches from my waist! I guess determination and possibly starting the 30Day Shred have helped:)

I figure tomorrow is a new day and a new week and I'm gonna try to start out with 30 Day Shred BEFORE double trouble hit the floor. Hoping this will start my week out right. I'm gonna try and plan my meals too so I don't overeat and just eat random junk. Wish me luck!:) Thanks for the positive words everyone.:flowerforyou:

I only went over 1400 calories for the whole week, but i'm freaking out about it. Maybe I'm just being too hard on myself. And you are right, I've lost more than one of the twins cause they weigh 44 pounds each! lol

Thx for all the suggestions. I actually do keep measurements. I didn't initially, but once I hit a plateau I decided to keep measurements to see if I was still making progress. I do measure from my belly button. The scale is still showing results so i'm not giving up. Today was day 2 of the 30 Day Shred for me and i'm…

I do eat quite a bit of protein, especially chicken. I usually go over my MFP protein goal every day. as far as exercise I had been doing 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of strength training 3-4 times a week. To be honest though, I haven't made it to the gym in the last 5 weeks:( With that being said I did start…

I hit a 3 week plateau and started freaking out so I can just imagine how you feel. I decided to have a spike day and eat basically double my calories. I still logged everything I ate. After that I was sure to drink my 8 glasses of water and day and watch my sugar intake as well as my calories. Too much sugar and me just…

I cut out as much sugar as possible, cook more at home, and drink lots of water. As for exercise, I have 5 kids and work outside the home so I typically would try to get in 3 days at the gym. However, in the last 5 weeks I haven't made it once, but I am still losing weight:) When I hit a plateau for about 3 weeks I was…

I cut out sweets cold turkey since that was my downfall. I logged everything!! This allowed me to see whether the things I were putting in my mouth were good for me or not. Logging my food helped me become more accountable for my food choices. Now, I will check calories BEFORE I eat something:)

I weigh in on Friday mornings after using the restroom before I eat or bathe:) Sometimes I splurge on the weekend and if I weighed on Sunday I might get depressed.
