I use Muscle Milk brand protein powder. I have a lot of allergies and problems with gluten and dairy and found this is the only one that doesn't make my stomach upset to the point of throwing up. Are you eating back your exercise calories? Sometimes that can slow down your weight loss if you're not eating enough. Also, if you're doing heavy workouts and not drinking enough your muscles will retain water. Try drinking more. :)

I forgot to mention! Yogurts. Lactaid makes a good LF yogurt which you can find in the dairy section of Wegmans. Walmart also has some good ones from Yoplait! Tastes like the real thing!

My lactose intolerance is severe enough that I react to the caramel colouring in beef stock cubes. Didn't think it would affect me so I went ahead and made soup with them. Gluten and wheat will only react to your body the way you stated if you have Celiac disease or a gluten intolerance. This does not happen to everyone.These people need to be assessed, diagnosed and put on this diet by their doctor / gastroenterologist. Just wanted to point that out as I am Celiac myself.
