Yessssss!!!! Listen to this advice! She's giving you the guide to success and with it you will flourish! Consistency is key and change up your weight training on the regular. There are some great apps that provide workouts for free. Fitplan has a free section that gives you tons of great workouts that I really recommend.…

Hi all! New to this group but love to join this challenge. I'm actually just starting to taper for my first half marathon so mileage for this month will be around 80 miles. :)
-
Using it right now and this thing is fun!!! Can't wait to see the calorie burn when I'm done.
-
I bought Turbo Fire a couple years ago and never used it. I'd like to try to get into it with you!
-
Ha ha ha... Love it!!! Enjoy your break!
-
I'm with you!!! I'm happy that I 'feel' like my abs are getting stronger and that things are starting to 'tighten up'!

^^^^^^^^ He couldn't have said it better! Just move on because you can't change it. The past is just that... the past!

IMHO, your sister is jealous... She doesn't like that you are doing so well and she is absolutely trying to sabotage you. It's easy for me to say, as I don't have a dog in this fight, but I would tell her you aren't interested in participating in her wedding if she's going to act this way. Oh, and if she's going to ask you…

Congratulations on your NSV! That's so impressive. I also appreciate that you are compassionate about others who are currently in your old situation. My personal perspective is not to offer unsolicited advice. As a person who has received well-intentioned unsolicited advice for myself, I did not appreciate, nor did I heed…

67 pounds? You are amazing!!! I can't wait until I can say the same. Congratulations!
-
I agree with the other poster who said you absolutely did a great job putting it into words! I'm so glad I'm able to find like-minded people here. We can do this!!!

You're absolutely right! The diet industry is a multi-billion dollar operation. I think most of their products make me want to eat more rather than less... I decided not to follow a specific diet at all. I'm also firmer this time with telling people that while I appreciate their advice, I'm doing this my way this time!…

Yes, especially yesterday... I was planning for a 'cheat meal' at the Brazilian steakhouse and my husband changed the plans. I typically eat at minimum 1,200 and stay below 1,600.
-
Whew! YES PLEASE!!! Man, you look wonderful!
-
I'm proud of myself for asking people to change the lunch location to one that I could bring my lunch. That way I don't waste a 'cheat' on crappy food I otherwise wouldn't have chosen. That's a big win for me! (and I'm proud that I've been packing my lunch as it's both a calorie and a money saver)

I'm certain that there's some water weight in the 7 pounds... BUT, my goal is set to lose 1 pound per week. I set it low on purpose because MFP automatically puts me at a 1,200 calorie diet if I put any more. I decided if I were to limit myself like that, it would not be sustainable. I figure it took a whole lotta years to…

FANTASTIC NSV!!! You should be very proud of yourself!

Wow, I think this is one of the best transformations I've seen on here, and that's really saying something! Kudos to you because you look AMAZING!!! Seriously, not enough words to express how much your hard work has paid off!!! I'm in shock, awe and inspired!!! WTG!

Awesome! I can't wait for your next progress post! Very inspirational and I appreciate you taking the time to write it down for us. All those achievements of yours should make you smile and you are worth everything you've done! GREAT JOB!!!
-
Yay! That's awesome! Congratulations and I don't see that as a small victory... I see it as a huge milestone! Congratulations!

My husband already bought our Halloween candy to hand out about 2 weeks ago. Of course the bags didn't stay closed for too long. He and the kids have been going to town and there's nothing I can do to stop them. I just have them in a cupboard that I don't open myself and don't have to look at. So far, I've not had any and…

I am proud of putting myself in a position to succeed today. I had my meals/snacks all planned out (except dinner but with tons of room for it). I'm also proud that I've completed week 1 with a 5.4 pound weight loss to show for it. I know some is water weight but I'll take it nonetheless!
-
You give me inspiration!!! I'm 5'4" and I was looking at your pictures thinking I'd never be long and svelte like that. I'm so glad to know that you can look that great and be my height!!! Thank you and congratulations! I can't believe that 17 pounds made such a difference. You rock!!!
-
That's awesome! I'm very happy for you and hope one day I'll be able to post something similar!
-
Personally I went cold turkey and if the headaches got too bad I would take some ibuprofen. Good luck to you!

I cut out all soda (my go to was Diet Coke) 3 months ago and haven't regretted it since! I did this a couple years ago and quit for a year, but that time I was just cutting out Diet Coke due to the aspartame and I was letting myself have the occasional other full calorie soda. Root beer became my gateway drug back into the…

Congrats on your transformation!

Hi! I'm 5'4" and 250! Feel free to add me if you like! We're all in this together!

That's awesome! When I first started with this company I kept candy on my desk because it was a good way to get people to stop by so I could get to know them. I could probably put hard candies up without fear of eating them. My biggest issue is chocolate in all its various and infinite combinations.... *sigh*
