One of the best posts I've read in a while! If we can't enjoy some chocolate once in a while I'm sure we wouldn't have the success to enjoy for our efforts. Enjoy!

A definite difference! It's much easier to see the difference with side by side pics than for those around you everyday to notice. Keep it up, you're doing great!

Here to stay. May seem like a fad because it's now more accepted than in past days.

Yep, I tend to be hungrier the next day after a big meal but what's stranger to me is that I tend to get very hungry before lunch when Ihave a big breakfast. I've always felt that though.

Bump, gotta go to work but want to see all the yummy recipes later!

I weigh pretty much every day and log on Sunday mornings. I find that logging on Sunday keeps me on track for the weekend.

Love my Fitbit too!

Not quite 100 to lose but I'd like to join as well! Thanks!

I use this bread as well, multi-grain, soft, fresh....yummy! Also, Smart Beat Mayo, 10 cal per tablespoon. Pretty tasty as well. Works great for chicken salad sandwiches.

219.8, lost 1.2 lbs last week (I posted 220 last week, it was really 221, typo). I was hoping for more but I'm glad to see a loss! Down 17 lbs since joining MFP, happy about that! I'm really gonna try to get to the gym this week, need something more than my morning walk. See you next week!

Ooh, I think I can do this one, I'm in!

I'm a recent start over as well. I think many of us go through that, some more times than we care to admit. The important thing is that you're back and ready to start anew. With the support you'll get on this site, you'll be back at it in no time. I'd suggest doing one of the many challenges you'll see on the site. I just…

Confidence. Also, I would also like to be able to pass a mirror without turning away.

Checking in....I've got such a sedentary job it's hard to get my steps in. I'm gonna have to "step it up"! I'd like to hear how some of you get so many steps in each day. Thanks! 8/1 = 10,704

Was just sitting here talking myself out of walking this morning...thanks, I'm in! Gotta get going now to make this happen!

I think people need to do what's best for them. Sometimes a person needs time to incorporate changes into their lifestyle so that they won't revert back easily. Too much at once can be overwhelming and can lead to giving up. If you're really looking for sustained change and not a quick change, then go for it. It's all…

Heck no! But he has tried to guess, and he's actually pretty close...I neither deny nor confirm He says he needs to know how much I weigh so he knows if he can carry me a distance should an emergency come up! I guess if he thinks he can/t then he needs to come up with a plan B! LOL!

Last week: 227.6 This week: 224.6 Yeah! Finally off this plateau with a 3 lb loss! @allyjoy83, good advice, I've been walking 5 days a week. My goal for this week is to start back at the gym. I used to love going there, not really sure why I stopped other than finding the time.

Sorry I'm late....was just so discouraged on Sunday, no change since last week, still 227.6. Will check in this Sunday, hiopefully with better results. Congrats to all who had some success!!
