  • WW works and it's worth it. Get to lifetime and WW is free provided you maintain. There may be meetings involved though as you get closer to goal.
  • I joined a WW in June and have to say I really like it. Pretty easy to do. Portion control became a clear issue I had to get under control but I can still satisfy cravings. Most importantly for me....accountability. I've done things on my own before but WW is working so I think I'll stay.
  • I joined WW in June and so far really liking the program. Losing weight, learning about portion control, and still getting my cravings satisfied. The Connect community on WW is a great place to learn new recipes or find new foods to try. I log into MFP on occasion for the community and learn as well. I just don't log…
  • I've been doing WW since mid-June. It really works for me. Points versus healthy eating isn't a far leap. I think I like the accountability piece best and that's what I need right now. I do pretty much eat what I want just watch portions. I lose weight even when eating daily and weekly points. Any system can work for…
  • Premier Protein shakes. 30 grams per serving, 160 calories per serving, keeps you full. Serve on ice, very tasty.
  • I joined WW mid June and have to say it's really working for me. It's gotten easier as I've learned how the program works. The accountability piece is also instrumental. Love it!
  • Wow! Awesome dedication!
  • I too just came back after being away for 9 months. Lot's of support and good luck to you!
  • Hi Slim. Not every plan is for everyone. We need to find what works for us individually in order to continue our journey of successfully losing weight and then keeping it off. I think most of us have been down the path of losing and gaining back and I think that's due to unrealistic plans or moving forward wtih something…
  • Good info....bump for later reference. Thanks!
  • Ah, I was asking myself that this morning. Thanks so much for the post! I've been doing the lemon water faithfully but I think I'll switch to putting lemon juice in my morning tea. It's tough getting two drinks down in the morning! Or, maybe switch the morning tea to green tea capsules.....
  • I'm doing well today. Lemon water and tea going down better. Not too many cravings yet. It helps that i keep my chocolate crave fed at night by making the chocolate yogurt concoction! At this point I'm still trying to get enough calories in. Made a delicious chicken with ped pepper and onion last night....looking forward…
  • Hello ladies. I am Adrienne. I live in Balersfield, CA. Separated for several years, hopefully be divorced by early next year. I have 3 kids, two sons, 17 and 13, and one daughter, 25. I also have a granddaughter, almost 14 omnths. They all live with me. I've struggled wtih my weight all my life. I lost a lot of weight in…
  • Ok, first day is done. I was well below 1200 calories today. After lunch I felt so stuffed I just couldn't eat much more, had to force some chicken for dinner. I think it was an affect from the green tea. My last cup of tea this evening went down much better....I think I was steeping for too long. Did it quicker the last…
  • No loss for me this week :( Starting the 17 day diet today with a few from this group....hopefully that will help. Oh, and not eating so much sugar! I can manage to keep at my set calories but have way too much sugar!
  • Just got up, took my measurements and weighed, ready to go! I went shopping yesterday for everything I need....this really does seem doable. I've been doing some reading online and have found many good reviews on this program, some indicating that this is more than a diet but more the way we should be eating anyway. As for…
  • Ok, I just got the quick start guide, going to look at that today. At this point I would prefer to start on Monday, but will try to go with what the group wants. Thanks for all the info ladies!
  • What is the 17 day diet?
  • About 2 weeks since last weigh in, 5.8 lbs lost! Now exactly 50 to go to reach my goal. SW: 237.0 CW: 225.8 July 14 (starting weight for group) CW 220.0 July 29 GW: 170.0 @Bobbi_1028....Wow! You are doing awesome! So many doing so well in this challenge. You are all very inspiring!
  • I get a lot of credit report ads...I'm guessing I'm in need of some change in my life!!!
  • Weighed myself a few days ago, not sure what day I will stick with as an official weigh in date. I usually weigh frequently and only record when I lost and kept it off for a few days. Then I feel like I own that loss. SW: 237.0 CW: 225.8 GW: 170.0
  • Still at the beginning of my journey but I plan on keeping at 1200. Like a couple of others, I include all foods as long as I stay in my calorie range. If I cut out too much the I will get off track and I don't want that. Everything in moderation! Haven't starting much of an exercise plan yet so I'll decide what to do with…

  • Count me in too! It's a close match to what I want to lose so this challenge will certainly help! Joining group now!
  • New to this.....just returning to MFP. July goals are to start off strong with consistent logging and getting myself up and exercising again. Put my fitbit on for the first time in months today. Not doing too well, my job is mostly behind a desk, but will try to increase that as well. Nice to meet you all! Adrienne in…
  • I just made this over the weekend, it's yummy! Hubby liked it too. Had the last of it for lunch today.
  • I too am back again....would love some new friends. Anyone who wants to, please add me. I'll send a friend request your way as well.
