Have lost 12lbs and not moved a size at all :( but am 6 foot tall so it takes a while to show.

I was exactly the same, I hated even the thought of running, and everytime I'd tried in the past I'd run too far too fast end up out of breath, shatterd and hurting. I'm now on week 3 day 1 and just ran 2.5 mins -which I NEVER thought i'd be able to do! I run with a friend which helps alot as we wont quit on each other!!

I've seen these before, but everytime I see them, I'm doubly jealous - once for the amazing change and new figure and again for the awsome tattoos!

Delirium Divergent Pure The Micheal grant gone series, first one is. Bit hard to get into but the rest of the series is awesome Skulduggery pleasant - yes it's about a skeleton and aimed at tween but it's brilliantly written, really different and extremely witty. I had to be persuaded to read the first one, read all of…

Sounds complicated!

Ooh well done! What are you going to do at grad school?
-
I started at 198 too, just trying to break that 190 barrier ATM, I go past then back then past then back. But I'm running now so hoping to beat it!

^ this is usually me. Last exam I was up all night before hand with my little girl being poorly, did zero revision and got a 72 - but this is such a new thing to me, and its so important to me to get into my first choices that I'm worried about it!
-
thanks guys - just did a practice test and did 'ok' - as expected my volcab is awful, but will work on it - get the books ordered and see where I get to! I've got to take the bio one too but not so worried about that! will try to take it in early sept so i can retake if i need to before the deadline!
-
ah ok i thought it meant as in a spoken part to the exam! oops. not looking good is it! I will take the advice and order the gre books today. I didn't realise the issue with grades - but i suppose a its as likely to happen here, I did read a friends 1st class dissertation the other week, it wouldn't of got a 2:2 at my uni!
-
wow, i'm 6 foot - and know what its like to 'carry your weight well' people dont perceive you as over weight - even though you are, which makes it more difficult to diet. So well done you, you look fantastic - I can only hope i get to look half as good!!
-
ooh good luck! not sure we have to do a verbal one as mines all computerised. I have to admit I find it a little strange that they make you do this to even apply! I mean surely the fact that I get 70s+ on my exams and assigments so far show that I know my subject? but no....I have to know everyone elses specialty too!
-
really? even as a basis to start with? i left school at 16 with GCSE's (probably like the GED there), but got onto this degree with work experience (12 years later). So I really have nothing to base it on - never having done a test like this before :S happy to skip that section but thought it might help me get to grips…

Thanks guys, we don't do SATs here so might get a prep book for that to look at first, think I need to build up to the GRE ones! Would do a course if I could but the nearest one is miles away  Your all making me feel at bit better about it though, as when I first looked at it I was terrified! But I figure if I can get…

Tbh it's not the extra time I need, I just don't see my mistakes - I've handed many papers in having been proof read two or three time by me, yet there are still 'there, their, they're' type errors, plus if I don't know a word I'll substitute it for something simpler - not going to get away with that in this! Right off to…
-
Yeah, I've looked at both of those - any idea which is better?
-
loved the books, most people dislike mockingjay - and although it took me longer to read than the others i liked the depth that was put in about her character and the overall ending (wont spoil it on here for those that havent read it). i really liked the film too - but as its own entity - i spent the whole thing thinking…

Ooh I saw that on amazon, wasn't sure about it. Is it worth a read?

No expert here but looking at your diary I can see your eating a lot of carbs, maybe too many? You also seem to eat processed food (chicken burgers etc) which are massively high in sodium - which will affect weightloss. Are you eating all of your exercise calories back? Maybe just eat 50% of them?
-
The fact that it's Jodie marsh would put me off straight away, the worst advert for a diet ever, she look awful!
-
I went out this morning in the pouring rain! Think having a friend to do it with helps, she didn't want to cancel and let me down and vice versa. Rain was horrendous but figure if we can do it in that we can do it in any weather!

I had jillian michaels fitness ultimatum on Wii - use with the balance board. I found it better than the wii personally. Sadly my Wii was adopted by my son...and was never to be seen again (it lurks somewhere in his room I'm sure...)

Sounds just like my ex, shows up once, twice every year, plays and has fun with my son then disappears - so I'm the one who has to pick up the peices. He does pay, but like you my son needs more & more - so I messages him about a summer holiday club costing £240 a week- he doesn't have to go, but would like to (drama and…

I think that's all we are saying- u don't know people's situations, so perhaps a simple 'is there a reason your low on cals' would suffice? I have no issues with people asking, it's more the ones that challenge you straight up (luckily none of my friends do). There the same issue on the boards - people instantly shout…

I'm an u der eater, so keep my diary closed to prevent the expected bombardment of 'starvation mode' which does seem to be the go-to phrase on here. I eat 800 cals a day plus exercise cals. This is not my choice really but my drs. I have a pituitary gland issue which affects my thyroid, presenting symptoms similar to that…

This made me chuckle mainly because my jackapoo has the same guilty look (he's one for shoes not couches thou)

rubbish - one punch can kill a man, 100 punchs may do nothing, it all depends upon the force behind the punch and the 'punchee' I suspect you are not a parent or you would not say 'did not warrent excessive force' either that or you are deliberatley trying to play devils advocate. IMO he was 100% justified in what he did -…

I had a mini breakdown about this on my feed this morning! Been here for 25 days, week 1 - 6 lbs down, week 2 - another 3 down, then a bad weekend and back up 3, this week back down 2lbs - so I'm actually 1lb heavier than last weeks weigh in. GRRRRRRR. Its like there is an imaginary brick wall at 190lbs (10lbs down for me)…
