^^^^ so glad someone else said about the pinch coller - was going to say it myself! I think they are banned in the UK anyway (if I'm not mistaken) but if not they are definatley frowned upon. As a behaviourist in training my suggestion would be to use positive reinforcement to stop the dog pulling or (and i'll credit…

Another one for books. I have a kindle with about 40 'to be read' on it plus I read 4-5 paperbacks a week (during non uni time). I cannot resist buying books. I hate used books so no point in suggesting the library to me, just the thought makes me shiver! I do sell a lot of books on via green metropolis thoug, donating to…

I've jsut started and my first run was hell - not due to the distance or even my breathing but because of my wobbly bits - everything wobbled which made blood run to it and then made it itchy as HELL. It made me want to stop, but as i was running round my backyard I kept going and iched! but figured I can't do that on the…

I went for a walk/jog to day - but gentle so as not to mess up my C25K plan. But did it with my 'hold you in'/spanx undies on - thanks to a tip from a friend and it did stop the wobble! making it much more comfortable to run!!! so tip for those with a wobbly belly, get some spanx!!! :)

Just done day 1, was pleased I could do it! Don't feel too bad either but not going to skip ahead, just Incase I do myself an injury! Blooming belly wobbles though and then Ll the blood rushes to it and it itches, I can exactly have a good bear style belly rub in the middle of town can I? What's a girl to do?!

^^^ that would be fine by me! I dont want to look like i've had kids! :) my problem is that I was slim without trying before baby number 2 - for some reason it didn't all spring back after her!

true, and I'm not disagreeing that knowing how to let it go is a valuble skill, but for some of us its not as easy as it sounds, especially as (i said above) its often echoing our own thoughts, if you already think it about yourself, it hurt 200 x more when you hear it from another.
-
its not always easy to do so though, and low self esteem is often a reason as to why people pile on weight in the first place. In an ideal world noone would care what others think of them, but in the real world we do. Sometimes writing a thread or venting on the web is a way of dealing, processing and rejecting others…

No, i''m sure he did say it! she didn't know me or him when we were together - and I was a very slim size 8 -10 (UK) when we got together, so i'm sure its from him. I know I shouldnt care, but sadly I do! I already felt that I'd been traded in for a newer model (she's 8 years younger than me!) and whilst she's very nice I…

i know, thank you - i think it hurt more that someone who spent 4 years with me, and was supposed to have loved me, has obviously been discussing my weight with his new GF. :(

I was always told to drink warm milk with a spoonful of honey before bed each night. Had worked wonders for me - no idea why but I'm not craving sweet stuff anymore.

Animal behaviour student, part time aquarist (basically swim with sharks all day) and volunteer at a wolf sanctuary playing with what are apparently 'apex predators' - not this lot, they're soft a butter! Yup my life sucks.....

Bump for later!

Tbh if he lets a silly reason like food choices or drinking preferences changed how he feels about you then he's not worth your time! I'm a meat lover but am happy for someone I date to be a veggie - as long as they don't force it down my throat so to speak, it s the same as religion, believe, practice what you want, but…

I've got a 36" inside leg too. Up until a few years ago I couldn't get trousers at all, unless I wore men's jeans. Now top shop and Dorothy Perkins do 'tall', which just make it!! I did find American eagle jeans fit - I had to ship them over to the uk!
-
I'm 6 foot. Like being tall &thin, not so much tall and fat :( Used to wear heels but my clumpy ankles/candles stop that........but hey 9lbs down.....

Have you read the shopaholic series? Fluffy, yet funny chicklit. Nora Roberts wise I don't think you can beat norther lights - her best IMO. If you like crime etc try Kathy reichs, if you ot really into gore try her 'teen' series vitals - no real gore but a brilliant read! I'd also second hunger games, it is warish but…
