  • I always said that I'd not go down the reader route. Have eaten my words. Love it. I still read proper books (in the bath!) but love being able to instantly download a book.
  • Driffield, Very Rural Yorkshire!
  • not sure if this has been mentioned but what do you bath/wash him in? My son, daughter and I are all allergic to johnsons with a passion - to the extent that if mums had some in the bath and then not rinsed it properly then we flare up! also e45 bath stuff makes a flare up worse (oh the irony). Do you get olatium in the…
  • don't have a type really - the guy MUST be taller than me (I'm six foot), once dated a guy a similar height (a little shorter) than me, and he used to ask me to walk in the road so he could look taller than me!! (that relationship didn't last long!) I have to admit the texan accent makes me melt....but there is limited…
  • agreed about the GP - the only thing he'll do for any of us is the stockings. my poor nan can;t walk due to it now. Ive not been to a specialist but mum has, and he basically refused/cannot do anything - the only trials he knows of are the lymph transplants but they are generally only in masectomy paitients following…
  • thank you - am trying most of the above, so will keep at it. sadly I'm in the UK so you have a local doctor (GP) and thats it (I live in a tiny village with one practice!) so don't get to change! its just so frustrating that even if I loose the weight, I still seemed destined to go the same way as mum and nan. There are…
  • yeah, he was completely useless, said that losing weight would help. He knows nothing about it - mum was a size 8 all her life and still got the legs of a heffalump. there are specialists but he wont refer me until its more serious.
  • anyone :(
  • This has just made me roar with laughter - mainly because fanny is someone completely different in England.......
  • Just realised it sounds like I was an alcoholic! I was taking about diet coke lol.
  • I used to drink way too much, then just stopped. No idea what clicked but I just decided not to drink it any more. My head pounded for days but I kept drinking water and it cleared. That was oct/nov last year, now I can have a glass at a restaurant or pub and leave it at one! I think it's a case of having none available to…
  • Do you have a kindle? They do an extra short Hana story on there. It's not great but shows her side. I hate having to wait - it was the same with divergent, I read it the week it came out so had a year to wait!
  • I shouted at the ending thou! Was soo mad that she'd just end it like that!
  • Well you do burn a lot of calories in your sleep (best excuse for a lie in ever) so maybe you body stores some for sleep?
  • Well done! My gains usually the day or so before - drops off as it arrives. It just hurts when you do so well and see the scales go the wrong way! It makes me want chocolate!
  • Nope but will have a look for them. Reminded of angel by la weatherly and the skulduggery pleasant books too - more good reads! Any uk users on here make sure you check out green metropolis to buy and sell books - I use it almost exclusively now - but the books for 3.75 sell for 3.00 - 75p a books not bad!
  • I had the same issue - I had my thyroid tested and the doc knocked down my cals to 800 - 900 a day. He said it could sometimes trigger a lazy thyroid, and if not it would help me until the thyroxin kicked in. It did work for a while the I gave up - turns out it was a issue with my pituitary gland, not the thyroid directly…
  • I'm thinking I may track it for a few months see if there's a regular. 'added' amount then I know where I 'really' am!
  • I'm 20 something (for another few months) and a student and we are already friends! I'm studying animal behaviour - its a hard slog but very interesting!
  • I'm a YA junkie - am way too old forint too! But I love the easy read nature of it, I read 4-5 books a week. ATM I have Hunting Lila on the kindle, pandemonium (delirium sequel), the glimpse and starters in book form! I have a waiting list of 40+ on the kindle too. Fans of divergent (it's been picked up for a movie!)…
  • Damn. That was meant to be the pics not the links!
  • I'm going to try to add some of mine:
  • I'm uk, trying really hard to be good this long weekend! It's tough with all the street parties!
  • All of the previously mentioned I think! I love unsigned, new artists too - try kamikaze test pilots (uk based) for a twist on the usual metal...
  • :0 how rude! I would never dream of telling someone that I didn't like a part of them! But then some people do judge too quickly...
  • Wow, some gorgeous artwork here. Do you e et get any negative responses to it? I've not had anything, but I know a lot of people don't like my big raven piece. But that's not a negative I knew it'd be a love it or hate it piece!
  • Gosh, I've never seen so many tall girls I'm one place, I'm usually the exception! I'm 6ft exactly and am 193 lbs ATM, but started at 198.8 never got to 200, but only just missed it! I was at my happies around 165175 not too slim but a nice figure, I seem to look like skeletor if I got less than that, but since babies my…
