I'm slowly getting better with this Sasha. Feel free to look at my diary.

Water! And get busy! You really need to get as active as you can, not just for burning more calories, but because that way you are not focused on eating. My worst days are sitting in front of the computer, I just want to snack the whole time. But once I get busy, cleaning, walking, sorting out etc, I forget about being…

I'm doing it as well, I have a 5k in July I need to complete, so loving that this is giving me structure in the way it does!
-
It's brilliant.

:noway: Absolutely shocking! And that is a snoop justified! You could always bury your head in the sand, but at some point I guess it is going to catch up with you.. :frown: Good luck to you both through this difficult patch that seems to be on it's way... :brokenheart:

:noway: You nap in the day? Wow. I am jealous. Haven't done that since I was 3. :ohwell:

5'11". Would be very happy around 87kg, it seems to suit me best at that weight!

I'd be mad if he knew she was going to be there all dressed up and he didn't warn me!!

Please do try couch to 5k, it ease you into the 30 minutes so well! Really worth trying, if you have an ipod you never even have to think about times, it gives it all to you on a plate. Good luck!

I also really struggle, could only do it from the knees. I think my biggest achievement so far was about 90 seconds of doing it 'properly', though not as low as I would like! Thanks for this, definitely going to give it some more attention!

Congratulations on your weight loss! That's fabulous!

Urgh, you might have to eat those words! The standard blood test they do for thyroid function (in the UK) very often don't pick up on underactive thyroid. Also, off course overweight is by far not the only symptom, many other unpleasant signs might make your friend feel it is worth pursuing a second opinion. But…

I have way too much insulation! :blushing:  Thank you for your input. It's nice to know it is nothing to worry about!

I do sweat after a hard workout, but not to the extreme. Probably a bit less than most other people I exercise with!
-
Try Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. Really makes a difference!

I feel exactly the same. I'd rather have a small number of friends but I want all of them to count, and like to keep up to date with their progress. If someone hasn't logged in for a month I doubt they'll come back anyway. Don't feel it is personal against you, we all have our quirks and preferences!

Not only am I dressed warmly.. I also have a big fat blanket wrapped around me and have the electric fire blasting.. The reason my other half thinks I've gone a bit potty.

Grrr.... Evil person. You make too much sense!

Bumping! I need more advice please. :flowerforyou:

Thanks for the advice. I forgot to mention that I do drink water during or after exercise. I don't sweat too too badly. Any advice on how to warm up quickly?

I encourage my children to play outside as much as possible. They see me exercise most days. They don't have to eat all their food if they are not hungry!! There is always a fruit bowl available for picking as and when they want. Every dinner has got vegetables included. Also, we don't use food as treats, rather give them…

The treadmill is much more forgiving on your body - less injuries. Outside running is definitely harder, no doubt! Why don't you start on the treadmill and build up some endurance and fitness, then start incorporating outside runs slowly?

You're awesome!

I would not put my faith in a dr where it concerns weight loss. I see them 10 minutes once every 2 years, and even then they are just rushed to put a conclusion to the case and move on to the next patient. If it is a specific medical problem that is persisting, ok fine. But as for weight loss, there are also as many…

I'm a chocolate monster. So YES! Got one given as a gift, worth about 1500 calories. So I will be VERY sharing with the kids and other half, and have a marathon exercise session as well. :blushing:  I am sure we can make it last a while.

I have a cheat meal on Saturday evenings! Take away or home made burger etc, with a packet of crisps and a chocolate whilst watching trashy tv. (The Voice and BGT) If I crave something before the weekend, I usually just work it in with my calorie goal.

The last time I was in the healthy range of BMI I didn't look or feel 'right'. I am just about 6ft tall, and looked like a lollipop with such a slim body and 'big' head!  I am aiming for the lower range of overweight as well. I know that is where I felt best, physically and mentally. The BMI really…
