Which spin class did you try? You look familiar... :)

Pam, if you try the Tuesday 6pm class with Erin, she's really supportive about those with injuries. The journey is completely yours, so you don't have to have a high intensity gear set if it hurts your knees. She can also give you pointers on how to lower the impact. I'll definitely have to say hi the next time I see you…

I like Kelly Clarkson's Stronger when I'm on the bike. It helps me get over those 'climbs' :)

I never thought I was a runner, but I eased myself into it...and trying out Vibrams didn't hurt either! I have a feeling I've seen a couple of you girls at the RAC in Pittsford...I'm there almost everyday after work. I do the Tuesday night spin class with Erin and I LOVE pilates on Thursday with Susan.

Bump. I got 2163 to maintain and taking off 500 still gives me an amount much higher than what MFP tells me. I'm wondering if I should adjust my goals on here...

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! Yes, jumping jacks, and burpees. Anything that requires me to do a lot of cardio alongside strength training. If it's just one or the other, I'm fine.

Same here! What's everyone talking about?

mmm bump!

@echoica: Michelle Williams and therefore, a bit of Marilyn Monroe

I usually take Fridays off since I typically come home late from work on those days and just want to relax. On Fridays, I do my best to stick to my cal limit (1260) and I might walk a bit on the treadmill instead of an intense workout. I believe that your body needs that 1 day a week to recover, so take it easy...but don't…

Bump! This sounds delish :)

I think you're confusing HLA-typing for Type I with the lifestyle pattern for many DM type II patients. They're two completely different things. The issue here is that Paula Deen is a representation (symbol, if you will) of a lifestyle in America that many people see as being okay. It's not okay. Thinking that her food…

I have a pretty major sweet tooth and I've found that Quaker caramel corn rice cakes really help. They're sweeter than some regular caramel corn, but a fraction of the calories, so I don't feel guilty eating 2-3 of them.

THIS. OH MY GOD, THIS. You've hit the nail on the head here. No one can be surprised by this business deal she's concocted with Novo Nordisk. She has sold a product for years, this product made her sick, she HID this sickness while she continued to sell the dangerous product, and now, she's continuing to sell the same…

I made these last night and found they were tasty, but a bit salty. Were they salty to you? I've also made the asian style meatballs with lime sesame dressing. AMAZING!

I'm a genetic counselor, hence the name :) And for those who have no clue what the means: http://www.nsgc.org/Home/ConsumerHomePage/PatientFAQs/tabid/338/Default.aspx

The sesame encrusted chicken came out great! I ate them plain with rice since I found them flavourful enough, but my boyfriend had them with a ketchup/sriracha sauce and dipped them. This recipe is a keeper! :)

I can usually fill up on a huge salad pretty easily. I've got pre-washed lettuce, pre-washed grape tomatoes, pre-washed baby carrots (I think you'll notice a trend here...), and can throw all of that together into a bowl in a few seconds. Instead of salad dressing, I drizzle no more than a tbsp of olive oil and toss the…

I'm going to try this tonight: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/08/sesame-encrusted-baked-chicken-tenders.html I've tried Gina's Asian turkey meatballs with lime sesame dipping sauce before and they were AMAZING, so I'm really excited to try this.

I'll try it! Send it over :)

Does it count that I'm originally from Toronto, but moved to the States last year? Feel free to add

Bump for later :) This is great! Is it really that many cal per cupcake??

@dixie -- mommy and baby = 10+ How adorable is he?! My goodness...too cute

It's the most recent one that looked good in a thumbnail and didn't include other people. I didn't want a picture with others in it since they might not appreciate having their image out there on teh interwebs :P

Seems like there's a lot of us here! I was diagnosed about 5 years ago. I've been taking birth control, but no other medications. It's definitely a struggle to get through all the symptoms, but we can get through it together! :)

5'3 and hoping to get down to 115 lbs. I'm in the same situation as a few others here...don't get the best reaction when I say I'm trying to lose weight. 130 just isn't the right weight for me.

Would you consider Rochester to be upstate or western NY?

26 year old over here, but I'm also a little one (5'3). I just joined a couple of days ago and have PCOS. I'm always up for making friends and cheering you on! :)
