the 1st day or two no b/c i usually have bad cramps & feel blah. nothing wrong with working out during your period, doesn't affect anything. it just depends on how you feel. if you're popping pain pills & have a heating pad on, then skip it that day :)

5'5" 131 lbs & in a size 8 jeans. i started off around 160 & in a size 12. clothes are weird though b/c i have a size 4 dress i can fit into again & some size 6 pants that fit me too. so dont concern yourself too much with the size of clothes you can wear.

those are rules that shape says you SHOULD be doing. but always keep in mind, things do change. like one day something is bad for you & then a new study says it's not. it's trial & error to see what works best for you.

I would up your exercise & speak with a nutritionist before considering surgery or pills. That's just me though. I mean there's no harm in speaking to them I suppose. But even if you had some kind of surgery, you would need to have self control & will power afterwards to not over eat & things like that in order not to undo…
