I follow a 4 day split on 5/3/1 and work related muscle groups after my 'big lifts': -Bench -DL -OHP -Squat I'd advise not doing full body every day but working certain muscle groups (push/pull, or do upper/lower, etc.) so that your muscles have enough time…

  • i've heard that if the cold is in your head you're ok to workout, but if it's in your lungs you should avoid it. i was sick about a month ago and i jsut went to the gym and walked on the treadmill for 30 min at a 3.5 just to get some movement in :) base it on how you feel but don't push yourself too hard!
  • If you like the taste and IIFYM why wouldn't you eat them??? You could say eating a donut or pretzels isn't worth the calories either. Almonds are a great natural source of healthy fats too :)

  • As a few other folks have mentioned, 'heavy lifting' is relative to you. I want to gain strength so I personally follow the 5/3/1 program so I am doing 1-5 reps.   • I definitely understand how you feel! I'm afraid I am gaining too quickly though. It seems like every time I step on the scale I'm up 2 lbs. I did had a very food filled weekend and am just finishing my cycle but it's still frustrating! Just need to keep toughing it out! Must think of the muscles!
  • Officially hit 134.0 today. I weigh the same today as I did 2 years ago when I first started MFP. My body shape as changed and I look slimmer now but It's scary and I'm starting to hit a mental block!
