Id say its very normal...I don't know details or sources off hand so I'm not saying this as a fact im sure of....but im pretty sure with a more stable caloric intake it keeps your hormones more stable and probably even boosts "good hormones" boosting metabolism has to do with hormones and stuff as well...and I know for a…

its all about what works for you...i was only offering the topic starting something to consider...I wasnt looking to have my opinion attacked...like common. Some people are haters big time.
-
lol ok...really? there's only one thing in all that Im gonna comment on and then im done with this cause this is the best thing you've said so far: " Compare beef and fish to lets say pasta"..."what one of us doesn't understand the GI" ....LOL! I don't think you even understand carbohydrates, let alone the GI...fish and…

lol sorry man...I really didnt want to high jack this thread...but really there's a way to disagree and there being a goof. All he could do was post results from some labs with loose monitoring and a lot of variables...while the GI research lab tests one food item, on site, in a lab, under watch and control of a scientist…

no body said anything about fat...what i actually said was...he was skinny...and it must be nice to be able to eat poorly and lose weight. I like to also think about long term health...like one of his "expert labs" pointed out in their conclusions: eating low GI carbs have "Favorable changes in lipids confirmed previous…

Well...first things first. You totally missed the point! Um glad to see you contributed some facts to your negative remarks! i applaud you for that at least. I can post 100s of articles and tests and bodybuilders and dietitians around the world supporting and promoting the Glycemic index. Does it make me right? No. I never…

opinion is good...but you need some facts to make it true. Science and experience say otherwise. not just me either...if youre gonna keep protesting my comments on the GI...back it up with more than your opinion. some research and references would be nice...cause i can produce lots of it...and have been...i looked at your…

lots of fat in salmon...good fats though...watch the sodium in fish from a box...if it is from a box? i had some highliner salmon in my freezer...it had 540mg of sodium per fillet...

i agree with the stuff that says its great as long as its low fat. lactose and fructose are pretty much the only sugars that dont act like sugars...they are slow releasing, providing they arent taking in large quantities in one sitting (which increases glycemic load) so...moderate portions throughout the day is all good
-
i want to keep out high sodium foods and high saturated fat foods. sodium has been my biggest problem, but it wasnt apparent to me until i joined MFP and logged everything and looked at it...before i was only logging total cals, protein, carbs, fat sugar and fiber...seeing my sodium...booo! ive cut quite a few…

if it upsets you stomach...then don't eat it...but don't stop eating it cause you think its bad. moderation...small portions...(or its possible pasta doesn't like you...that happens to some for some foods lol) whole wheat pasta is excellent...but even regular pasta is fine. Here what science has to say about it , not…

fat free milk...and dairy...whey powder. I like skim milk or 1% late at night cause its a slower releasing protein than whey and its low on the glycemic index as well. There is no definitive proof in regards to reducing calories later in the day...but i think for some its a good idea...you'll just have to try some…

i tried the most popular one...hydroxcut and stuff. a lot of people told me it worked wonders for them. but not so much for me. I take 2 200mg caffeine pills (from walmart 6dollars for 100pills) and 5 8mg ephedrine once sometimes twice a day....sometimes not at all...im not religious with them...I find it actually works…

actually i just read this about watermelons on there lol Temperate climate fruits - apples, pears, citrus (oranges, grapefruit) and stone fruits (peaches, plums, apricots) - all have low GI values. Tropical fruits - pineapple, paw paw, papaya, rockmelon and watermelon tend to have higher GI values, but their glycemic load…

look at your sugars...where are the majority of them coming from? fruits and dairy? if so...don't count those...I still have no clue why they count fructose and lactose as sugar...because THEY DO NOT BEHAVE LIKE SUGAR! almost every fruit in Low on the glycemic index (banana are moderate, watermelons and mangos are high)…

I thought leg presses with my feet placed higher on the foot plate would be ok too...nope! squats to the floor! brought my butt back up nice and plump in a few weeks. lol

Limiting your intake of high glycemic index (GI) ranked foods with low and moderate GI foods is the first step to starting a low glycemic diet and hypoglycemic safe nutrition plan. check the Glycemic index website and look up what serials are under 60 on the GI scale and which ones are higher. You'd be surprised to see tha (t things you thought would be good are high on the GI scale while others, like frosted mini wheats...are as low as apples on the GI scale...add milk to it and it lowers it even…
