Sometimes it takes us a long time to learn that this is LIFE, not a diet.... thanks for sharing your story, it's an inspiration and you look amazing!

Congrats! 2 sizes is awesome! I'm really jealous that you can wear capris right now, though... we got about 4 inches of snow yesterday LOL
-

For less than 200 calories you can have 1/3 c. of quick oats (cooked with 2/3 c. water), 1/2 Tbs of peanut butter, a Tbs of sugar free syrup (or stevia... whatever your pleasure), & a splash of low fat milk... yum. I add cinnamon and nutmeg to kick it up a notch... Canned pumpkin is also amazing in oatmeal, with pretty…

I haven't put it to the test yet, but found this chart about what you really need when you're craving stuff... http://healthwellness808.com/?p=1180 For salty/crunchy cravings, I like pickles! Just not too many :)

This is what I've been thinking... I've tossed a lot of other ideas around, but I think soda and alcohol will be my final decision. I should have decided before Lent started, but... whatever. I'm not Catholic, but have given something up for Lent for the past few years... one year it was my Facebook games, then I decided…

It's interesting to see how everyone does it differently! I saw someone else who logs every loss or gain so they can see the pattern on their chart, which could be interesting too... I hit 13lbs lost, then went on a trip, enjoyed lots of treats and came back with a gain of almost 4lbs. I decided not to record that, but to…

I'd love more friends in their 30's! I'm single and 36, looking to lose more than 100lbs (for starters!)... trying to change my lifestyle and habits so I can maintain once I lose it :) Feel free to send me requests- I love the support system mfp offers!

Day 5 for me... and it's been really hard, but I've done it! I've got a number I'm waiting to see on the scale, then I'll increase my daily calories by a couple hundred so it's not quite so challenging!
-
Did you plug those numbers into your mfp goals? You're looking to lose about 1.5 lbs a week to get there in 7 months... I'd be curious what the computer suggests :) I'm no expert, but thought you needed an answer from someone :)

If that is an eating pattern that works for your life, then that is what you need to work with to lose weight! Personally, I try to eat one larger meal in the day (usually dinner, but it varies) and several snacks/small meals that are around 200 calories. It sounds like a good protein shake might be a good lunch option for…

People may consider me a 'crafter' but I prefer to think of myself as an artist. I am a card maker and scrapbooker, but I'm loving creating mixed media collage pieces and see a lot more of that in my future. I love getting my hands inky & all covered with colour :)
-
Wow- impressive progress, you look fantastic! Thanks for the inspiration :)
-
Congrats on the loss and 2 years maintaining it- fabulous! You look great!
-
Well look at you rocking that hot new body! Thanks for sharing- you're an inspiration! Can't wait to see the next update :)

They were pretty tasty and definitely would hit the spot when I'm craving buffalo chicken :) My egg roll wrappers seemed a bit thick, though... may need to try another brand! I love this blog- her personal history (lost 135 lbs- links on the left side bar) is inspiring!

There's a group of us with 100+ to lose, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's already a group for 150+ :) But you should come check us out: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/3339-100-pounds-with-no-surgery

I've been trying to get veggies & such to make a big pot of soup to last me through the week for lunches. Add some canned tomatoes, a bag of pre-cut coleslaw (or broccoli slaw... whichever is the best price) and a can of beans (I like black beans), some broth plus whatever seasoning you like. You could put salsa and…

If you've been sitting around 1200 calories a day for a while now, why not try mixing it up? Switch up your weekly goal with MFP and see what it suggests for a loss of 1 lb a week. My guess is that eating more for a week or two will help and you'll see the scale move... once you do, switch it up again. Don't give up, just…

Mine is open to my friends, but not public. I have bad days, but my goal is clean eating and I believe having that accountability (that someone could look if they wanted) helps. The friends I've made here so far have been nothing but encouraging! Also, when I'm on track and making good choices, my diary can be an…

Friday today... so I'm, what, 4 days behind everyone else? But I'm all in. Just re-set my goals today and am determined to stick to the lower calories. A week seems like a good place to start!

I saw this recipe on Pinterest today... looks yummy. I'm a sucker for cinnamon... just have to figure out how to cook the quinoa :)

The database probably has a generic 'indian buffet' food in the list... I'd just add that, and if you think the calories are too low, add one or 2 other dishes you ate (that you know what they were- like rice or butter chicken). It's what I had to do last time I had Chinese food... just plugged in 'chinese buffet' and…

Wow- thanks for sharing! You are living proof that 5lbs loss is nothing to be ashamed of! I look forward to seeing your 60 day update :)
