It's not that bad and she gives you pointers on how to NOT hurt yourself. My whole body creaks, but it's a great workout I ordered my DVDs from Amazon.com

Feel free to add me - i'm slightly obsessive...
-
uh, yeah...that would be me...

I bought a treadmill at around $450 11 years ago and it still works great; have a spinner bike ($199) and a floor model elliptical that was around $1000. Plus videos and some hand weights. I love it.
-
I've done both - before I had children - going to the gym was ok - but I've always wanted that home gym where I don't have to wait for a machine or whatever. Plus workout videos are really great now adays - no more Jane Fonda. After having babies and working long hours - I work out when time permits and having it available…

I just went to a running store to get fitted and ideas for the proper running shoe for me and the Brooks were the best fit for me. They offer great cushioning and they had last year's model at a discount...SCORE!!!

I've learned that making my own is the best way to go. yeah, it means I have to get up a little earlier in the morning; but you can't beat home made. BUT - when I do go out for lunch; Quiznos salads are a pretty good option - just skip the dressing.

Phenominal job. You look so much younger in the after pic. Love it
-
Awesome job - you're on your way

It's ALL MINE - in my house i have a room dedicated to my fitness equipment (a treadmill, spinning bike and elliptical) or the great outdoors.

Spinning will kick your cardio into high gear. It is a killer workout. I've done it for a few years now; i run too, but I know I can't run everyday if I want to preserve my joints. Spinning is a great alternative.

Flippin' awesome!!!

Have worked my way up to 4-5 days a week and my longest run so far is 5 miles. I'm training for a half marathon so I am continuing to up my distance and time on a run to increase my endurance. Saturday, I will attempt to run 6 miles.... I've been running off and on for about 15 years but never at this distance before.
-
Hey there - I decided after doing a 5K that I would like to try a half marathon - so I am training for that - jogging/running about 4 times per week. Friend me if you'd like. I'm not new to running, but getting back into it. I'm not a fast runner - going more for the endurance than anything else.

Tomatoes.

HEY - i am middle aged...38 and I still hate it - but I'm used to it because I work in Law enforcement. P.S. you are only as old as you act...
-
A calorie is a calorie regardless of where it comes from. As long as you are counting them and being accurate - it shouldn't matter.
-
You look great, awesome progress and so much happier. Keep it up.

Interesting. I am at goal and i am scared to increase calories, but I'm not losing anymore either. I do feel "hungry", weak and kinda shaky every few hours, which to me says i'm probably not eating enough at my "meals". I've never had to think this hard about maintaining a healthy body and menu before....SIGH!!!
-
GEEZ - that's awesome. Love the office pics in the same pose. You are to be comended. No doubt.
-
tomatoes - but I can only eat them cooked still.
-
^^ Brilliant. I don't care what my co-workers say or think...i'm making healthy choices while they're on high blood pressure meds
-
I have 3 "meals" - but I do snack quite a bit in between...which could be considered small meals.
-
Ross, Marshalls, Old Navy has great prices and different fit types too.
-
YUP - i take them with dinner or right before bed.
-
I have done this diet in the past...bottom line...it works, especially if you want to get yourself off the sugar addiction - just make sure you follow the rules and gradually add good carbs back into your diet. I would do phase one and lose a bunch of weight and then jump back to my old habits.
-
The thing with running is to take is slow and easy; if you start out too fast, you can't maintain. I've read that it's better to do distance than speed; at least until you build up your endurance and in the effort to burn more calories as opposed to say making a time trial or something like that. About the hip pain...not…
-
YES, me too - lower calorie; but I still eat pasta and rice as well. It's all about moderation.
-
kinda look off into the distance...helps to clear my head; and helps me not trip and fall...I tend to be a little less graceful than most :-)

Awesome job; you are to be comended and you are looking amazing. Keep up the great work!!!
