I'm going to try a few different classes at my gym (cycle fit and yoga at the least) and pick at least one to stick with! 3. Be like…

As almost everyone else mentioned - water! Anything to drink besides water now is definitely a treat. I also realized that those fruity cocktails have a LOT of calories in them and I've cut back and switched to lower cal drinks. Also, logging EVERYTHING! Pre-logging was my next step, but simply tracking everything I ate…

Yup. Also make sure to get your exercise in! Those two things combined should get you started. Best of luck!

PiYo was reccommended highly to me by a friend who has knee problems (like me) and she had GREAT success with it! She also followed the eating plan but her inches lost was amazing!

I also know the feeling! I agree with everyone who said have a plan. That hopefully will help with confidence and feeling a little more like you know what you're doing. The hardest part (for me anyway) is going over there the first time. Each time will get a little easier and hopefully you'll feel a little more comfortable…

Me! That's definitely why I choose the beginner group lol My gym has an awesome weights section BUT it's on a military base so at any given time there are a million super ripped guys working out and it really intimidates me (even though I know it shouldn't!) I know I need to do more than just cardio so I was thinking of…

I LOVE lemons! Aside from lemon water, I'll place lemon slices over any meat I'm baking in the oven (chicken, fish, etc.) I also will use lemon juice in a salad as a dressing substitute :)

I completely tore my ACL and had surgery almost two years and running still hurts occasionally. Swimming is great, walking, anything that is low impact.

Now I'm feeling a run! Thank you!

I'm finishing up a masters degree in school counseling and trying to shed the weight I gained in college and after I had knee surgery. I've lost just under 10 pounds and hope to lose 40 more to…
