Probably not going to help, nor is it healthy, but my college diet was awesome and thought I should share: Beer, some vodka, more beer, really cheap wine, beer, gin, more beer, rum, more beer, jungle juice, more beer, top ramen, instant macaroni and cheese, and hot dogs, partying all night, not getting up for class, sleep…

You raised your heart rate, so technically it counts. I know playing drums, especially heavy metal drumming with machine gun double bass can be one hell of a workout \m/ On that note, I probably wouldn't log them, just so I didn't eat too much. But this is really up to you.

I agree with the above about going to a store to get fitted, or if you know your foot (whether you are flat footed, pronate, etc), you can research the different styles of shoes for your type of foot. I personally need a "stability" running shoe. On that note, I have been running my whole life and have tried every shoe…

She is not too skinny.....your friend sounds a bit jelly.

Turn off your WiFi on your phone, that will improve the accuracy of your GPS greatly, I had this same problem with multiple tracking apps, once off, they were pretty accurate.

I used to beg my dad to take me on runs with him, did me good!

Depends on the woman, but more times out of not, it is kind of gross, too thin looking.

love recovery runs, and bike rides for that matter, both are great. I go nice an easy as a percieved effort, which is a slightly elevated HR, would be able to hold a good conversation.

It is roughly the same calorie content as whole milk, the pasterization process only heats up the milk to try to kill bacteria.
-
This sounds like a hydration problem, but you probably want to tell your doctor about this as well, just to cover your buns......I would suggest that you hydrate before, during and after the runs. Mainly before and after if you are doing 40 minutes, anything longer you will want to either have a place you can stop for…

I agree with this, with one exception, chiropractors? Those guys are quacks, not real doctors....just saying

If you are going to go on a rampage, a twelve pack of mgd 64 is only 768 calories and you will get you a good buzz.

I want to be the first to say that I love speed work!!!! I am a little insane, I know this, but I love it. Anyways, depending on what you want to improve it starts with the basic 400 meter repeat. I am sure some of the articles posted will talk about a lot more indepth stuff, but this is all you need to know. First find…

I don't think it would be an issue even if you are going for a PR, as you are working different muscle groups, and you will have plenty of time to refuel your body.

Apparently working hard and pushing yourself is showing off these days........I am actually a little disgusted.

Best hamstring stretches: 1. cross your feet right over left, and reach for your toes and go as far as you can, then switch to left over right and repeat. 2. Lie on your back pull one leg to your chest while other is straight out hold for a little while, then pull it across to the opposite shoulder (this will hit your…

I would suggest taking a trip to the doctor as well, just to be sure. On that note, I would bet it has something to do with hydration/electrolites as stated previously.

I am in the same boat as you, except I run around my neighbor hood in the bike lane. I sometimes don't eat until 9 pm, it isn't as bad if you have a couple hours to let it digest, they say 3 hours or more before bed time is good, but I haven't seen any ill effects with my 2 hour window, especially if you are eating a…

Workouts while hung over suck balls! But you will end up getting rid of your hangover, just have to make sure to hydrate properly, because your body is already dehydrated and working out will worsen it.

Really wish I could have the last 5 mintues of my life back after reading that nonsense......oh yeah one of the "scientific sources" was a study on lab mice.

You should sign up, you are more than ready at 36 minutes and you won't be first and you wo't be last, and don't worry about other peoples times, you will do fine and enjoy yourself.

My calves are one of my favorite body parts, they are super toned from hockey and cycling, and make my ankles look stupid skinny.

Doing the 5k Electric Run Los Angeles May 24th Lake Castaic Triathalon June 9th Will sign up for some more races mid May.
-
My advice: 1. Put on running outfit (whatever clothes you choose), and place running shoes on you feet. 2. pick a location 3. start running 4. don't care what other people think, it is about you, not them.

Man, I thought this said best excuses for playing Hockey.......on that note, as a manager, there are a million reasons, just pick one, end of the day if you have PTO, it doesn't really matter what the reason is.

I don't know how bad your asthma is, mine is pretty mild, my doctor recommended that I use my rescue inhaler before any strenuous runs, or if it is windy out, or on high pollen days. I would consult your doctor on this one, especially if it was as bad as it sounds.

I have a feeling that this pain is more due to posture and wrist pronation, than it is to your saddle tilt. When you ride, do you ride stiff armed, or are they bent at the elbow? Are your wrists straight? If your elbows are straight and you wrists are bent, then your wrist is acting like a shock absorber over every bump…
