My friend wants to ask you guys a question.
Hi this is Sam, StrongSmartBeautiful's friend and I want to know the outcome of having a hangover but still working out? Your experience anyway.

The smell can be pretty overwhelming to those around you.0

"Break a sweat, save your brain from booze. Aerobic exercise could prevent long-term brain damage caused by heavy drinking (five or more drinks a night), according to new research in Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research."

Drink lots of water beforehand.0 -
how many are you??0

The downside is that it makes your workout far less effective. The upside is that it shortens the time during which you suffer hang over symptoms and blunting the most pernicious of those symptoms.0

Workouts while hung over suck balls! But you will end up getting rid of your hangover, just have to make sure to hydrate properly, because your body is already dehydrated and working out will worsen it.0

I dont drink heavy when I have get up and workout in the morning. Not a fan of going to the gym and not being able to put everything i have into it.0

Dizziness, vomiting, inability to walk straight, passing out on the floor. Hold on. I think that's just from drinking. Probably had nothing to do with working out.0 -
Depends on how hungover we're talking about....headache, fatigue and dehydrated--yes, workout. Can't move, light and sound hurts, puking....stay home and recover.0

Working out is more important to me than a couple hours of drinking that leads to the ****ty hangover in the morning. My advice, skip the booze.0

"Friend" hmmmmmmm???
Well they feel horrible....but if I have a hangover and can drag myself to workout, take a long hot shower and eat a big breakfast I usually feel 90% better.0 -
Do you even drink?0
-
I don't really drink but my friends do and Sams my workout partner.0

Is Sam the one on the left or the right?0

I want to know this too.
The people in my head are confused and arguing now...0 -
You'll fatigue easier, but it won't hurt you. Unless you drink vodka, that will make you muscles tear the next day if you try to lift.0

there's been a few sciencey reports into it and generally when women consume alcohol it improves their sporting ability (though if you've got seriously blotto then its not so good), while in men its the opposite. personally me n my team mates have played some of our best rugby after a night out n it really does sort the hangover too, just make sure you're rehydrating yourself. having said all that, stay clear of the booze its not going to help in the long run x0

Best advice: skip the alcohol, and you won't get a hangover.
The buzz isn't worth the calories. Save it for special occasions, and know when to stop.
