  • Macon!! Yes it's hot but I love the heat! Feels awesome to come in from a jog and be dripping sweat! Get all those toxins out  I do attend a boot camp class indoors too about 5 days a week but it's still toasty even inside so I say go for it! Just stay hydrated and you're all good! :drinker:

  • well....no. mine is my son...one of my reasons that I wanted to restart a healthier life style and get the "old me" back. I normally use pics of myself or my family but I can see where someone my use a pic of a "role model" or a body type that they are working towards as inspiration. Afterall, you log in every day and see…

  • great advice! my thoughts exactly I just forgot that part in my post. lol!
  • i agree with upping your protein and water intake. Several days are below your goal of 8 glasses. I always try to exceed my 8 b/c almost everything is high in sodium. Watch your sodium intake and on days that are higher make sure to drink more water! There are also several days you leave close to 500 cals. Try to work…
  • everyone is different but I'd love to hear some suggestions. I've been moving the same 2-3 lbs for SEVERAL months. Have a final 10-15 lbs to go to my goal weight so I'd love to get them moving!
  • this sounds really yummy! I like MrBrown72's stuff too but seems time consuming and with a ton of ingredients!
  • my boss would make some for me sometimes when I forgot mine at home....it has white cider vinegar and ketchup and brown sugar....I think. It was really good but I'm not sure the exact make up and not sure how much sugar since I'm looking for something lower sugar/ carb. It was REALLY good tho!
  • huge diff! and I love the hair! Keep it up and get on gagging that "fat girl"!!! You're doing great!
  • hot diggity dog!!! Thanks for the tip....Hidden Valley Ranch, here I come!
  • bump :flowerforyou:
  • hmmmmmm........... GUM!!!!! Helps everytime I have a sweet tooth. I love pretty much ALL fruits. Salmon Chicken Luna protein bars Green beans and sweet potatoes I'm sure there are a ton of others but those are the few that pop into my head.
  • grokette....I just think you may need to be clear on the person's intentions before jumping. Please don't think I'm trying to start anything or scold you like a child...but you've been very angry this entire post and you've made ALOT of the negative remarks...not the originator of the OP. I understand you've been thru alot…
  • lol....kinda funny....this sounds like "bashing" and it's in THIS forum!
  • guys....I honestly just don't see where anyone has been "criticizing" anyone for choosing this way to diet. It's up to you what you do to and with your body whether it's join the HCG dieters, join the die hard calorie counters, or sit at home on the sofa stuffing your face with pizza. The OP was simply sharing some…
  • and this would be thru the doctor's that we can't trust??? seriously....I wish you all the luck in the world in your weight loss. And I pray NOTHING negatively affects your health....PERIOD!
  • My thoughts exactly......HCG is produced NATURALLY during pregnancy...there's your diff. And I don't know about you but I don't need CONCLUSIVE proof! I mean seriously? I'm gonna wait til I get cancer to say "Yep. You were right." Naw...quite alright. Granted....breathing, eating, and pooping can give you cancer nowadays,…
  • LOVE IT! Rant away!
  • STILL don't see any bashing here. Only proven side effects and a plea to be wise and get all your info before starting anything! Sounds like a good friend to me.
  • That's a sad way to go thru life...thinking the world is out to get you. Bottom line is YOU decide how much and what you eat! YOU decide what you spend your money on. YOU decide to go for that walk/jog/swim today. YOU decide to follow your DOCTOR'S advice on ways to improve your diet so you don't have to be on high blood…
  • Well said! Sorry to hear about your Aunt but you are EXACTLY right!! Hormones are a funny thing and I would NOT wanna mess with that.
  • I wouldn't consider this "bashing" OR being unsupporting of others efforts. Just simply trying to inform ppl of BOTH sides. I've considered this diet many times but am just not real sure of the all the risks (SINCE THERE ARE RISKS WITH EVERY...THAT'S RIGHT EVERY...DIET!) The problem is when ppl just don't want to hear BOTH…
  • well said! Also, keep in mind...depending on how rigorous your workout has been your body could be retaining water to rebuild muscle. The tape is ALWAYS the best way to determine results...not the scale. Do both for accurate measurements.
  • I LOVE to run....but I do it best outside. I do get bored on the treadmill. It's much easier to run, especially for distance, when you're outside. you just pick a trail and go for it. I also love music so running is my opportunity to get outside, listen to what I want, and just be by myself. I try to get some sort of snack…
