I need to start looking for more sales on meat and figure out when certain stores normally do them and for which meats. I think I could save a lot by doing this, just need to free up some room in the already crowded freezer first!

The default protein goals setting for myfitnesspal very low, if you get 1g per your lbs of body weight you should be ok and a little more won't hurt you. I have my goals set for 40%protein, 30%carbs, 30% fat, and I have seen other members set that as a healthy goal as well.

Also note that the default/automatic settings on myfitnesspal are set extremely low for protein. A lot of us have adjusted it in our goals.
