  • This is an awesome idea!! I will get all my information to you later today...I had my measurements taken June 28th so I'll start with those...I typically measure once a month. I won't be in a scandalous costume this year...but hopefully in 2014!
  • I agree with Connie! 1100 isn't enough! On days that you exercise you need to fuel your body up so it has the energy for the workouts. 1500-1600 is what my trainer had me on. Try seeing if certain foods affect your body...I know for me the minute I eat pasta, potatoes, or bread...i gain! Some people...dairy affects them.…
  • I did the Color Run this year! It is absolutely the most fun you will ever have running! I can't wait to do it again next year! My friends and i are thinking about traveling to some other cities to do it too! My new one I'm trying in December is the Hot Chocolate Run! I also just did the Splash Mob 5K last month! They…
  • Wow! I came out extremely high on emotional eater....not surprised. What did surprise me is the fact that I came out high to some degree on all of them. Well....i guess that explains my problem! I agree with another post...I wish it gave us recommendations and suggestions to help.
  • I know I have an awesome workout when the other people in my workout group can tell where I've been because of the sweat trail I leave!
  • Wow! I needed that one! People keep telling me I look smaller and I keep telling them I've actually been gaining weight! Thanks for putting it in perspective for me! There have been times I wanted to give up because of it!
  • Try adding some strength training or conditioning classes to your exercise. Also vary the type of cardio you do and increase the intensity every so often. That keeps the body guessing! Don't give up. I had lost 68 pounds and had a major set back and gained 30 of it back. I spent several months beating myself up about…
  • I found some trainers to be that way as well...something I started to think about though as I became part of the gym family is that people in general tend to gravitate towards people they know and are comfortable with. My current trainer seems really stand offish until you get to know him...he has a hard time just walking…
  • I have been training with personal trainers for a little over a year...for me...I don't worry about the "look" of a trainer. I'm looking for someone who is going to challenge me physically and hold me accountable in a motivating way. I guess it depends though...cuz everyone is different. I went 3 months without a trainer…
  • I teach visually impaired and blind, babies and toddlers with multiple disabilities! Basically, I get to play with babies and toddlers all day and get paid for it! Ka-Ching!
  • I started at a smaller amazing gym in August of 2010. It was just like a mini community...very comfortable and client oriented! I started dropping weight like crazy with all the support and classes they had. All the trainers interacted with everyone not just their clients. Sadly...a national chain bought them out and…
