I'm down 53 pounds. A little over a third of the way to my goal. In for the inspiration!

Another Houstonian here. I walk either before the sun comes up or after it goes down. I feel safe in my neighborhood and I wear a blinky light for visibility. If I have to walk when it's high noon and hot (and the air's so humid I'm pretty sure I have gills), I go a little slower but I STILL GO. Moisture wicking workout…

If I want a burger and I don't eat a burger, I eat three other things trying to meet the need the burger has to fill. Then I eat the burger anyway and wish I'd had it in the first place. Get the burger. I'd suggest a better burger than McD's, but if that's the burger you want, kudos!

But I found it difficult to believe that the Angels actually thought she could see. If they're observant enough to know when a person blinks, then surely they'd have noticed that her eyes were shut. Not my favorite episode, but I don't hate it. I do love River's sass. She redeems this one for me.

Seeing the Angels move creeped me out SO MUCH. Ha ha!

Two that help me when I'm struggling: If you want to stop starting over, stop giving up. A year from now, you'll wish you'd started today. (modified: you'll wish you hadn't given up today!) When I'm exercising: If it's worth the time to do, it's worth the effort to do it well.

Man, the Angels creep me out. I also love River in this episode! "Oh, I'm going to be a professor some day!" I agree with RHW - definitely a missed opportunity to have her interact with Eccleston. That would have been amazing. Had to watch the second part right after - they're kind of blurring. Will wait for the next post…
