Re: Effect of a Very Low-Protein Diet on Outcomes: Long-term Follow-up of the Modification of Diet in Renal Disease (MDRD) Study https://twitter.com/Mangan150/status/1131256750949117952 Conclusion: A very low-protein diet (0.28 g/kg/d) did not delay progression to kidney failure, but appeared to increase the risk of death.

I hope they're at least used for feed or fertilizer since their death is deliberate - surely they must be? I tried to google to see what they do with the culled chicks but all of the results I saw were - understandably - focused on the process.

Calories are equal but their physiological effects aren't identical. What you eat matters.

After multiple deaths veganism is "not ethical to impose on children". Parents who raise children as vegans should be prosecuted, say Belgian doctors The Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium published a legal opinion on Thursday, which could influence future court judgments and is the first time a health authority has…

I understand and I'm sure the OP appreciated your friendly post or at least I know I would! :) But my post was for you because I'm concerned your protein goal is way too low - 90g is the low mark for most IME with 125g-135g of protein being more typical for those eating low carb who need to moderate protein. And many need…

The 50-60g of protein you're aiming for is not moderate. It's low; too low in my opinion for anyone dieting. Limiting meat/whole food sources of protein in favor of almond flour and butter in order to keep your protein low and your fat intake high is not a good trade off from a nutrition stand point. It's not good advice…

It might not be the fiber but specific foods making you sick. A few years back I was eating a lot of plant food and seemingly out of no where foods I've eaten my entire life were upsetting my stomach. Specifically green peppers, carrots and eggs. And pistachios were making my lips tingle. I cut out those foods and then cut…

Do you eat enough meat/protein? It sounds like you're deficient. I don't think a doctor would dismiss your concerns at all -- go see your doctor. :)

LOL I had to laugh at the healthy meals each and every day when half of those days you don't eat. :) Either or carry on and congrats on your weight loss to date. Also, don't be afraid to switch things up if you find what's working for you right now stops working -- many find that after a significant weight loss they're…
