Ditto to everything everyone else said. I couldn't live without my Polar Ft7...,.oh and definitely make sure you get one with a chest strap and one that does not interfere with the signals of other HRM's if you work out in a gym where other people wear them. The chest strap will make it more accurate in reading your heart…

The 2160 is the number of calories your body needs to maintain...MFP is calculating a caloric deficit

I would like to join the group as well. My hubby and I will be ttc in March 11. I have about 30 pounds to lose to hit a healthy weight for my height. I've been working out and watching my diet for about 2 months now and haven't dropped a pound :( I've actually gained. Right now I'm doing Chalean Extreme and The Belly Fat…

I really wish I could find spinning classes where I'm from that you don't need a gym membership to the gym to attend. I don't need a gym membership because I have the equipment at home but I want to attend classes. Good Luck and have fun

protein powder also makes you feel fuller longer :)

I also have the Polar FT7. I cannot imagine my life without it!!! I LOVE IT, it leaves no guessing in how many calories I burn each workout. I would recommend you spend the money and get a good one. Also you should get one with a chest strap because they are the most accurate. When I was doing my research on them Polar was…

Sumatra, Also some of that fatigue could be that you may not be eating enough calories. Muscle requires calories! Chalene mentions in one blog that she wrote to eat at least your BMR while doing this program. If you dip below that your body may go into starvation mode and hold onto all that fat. It will also make you feel…

Beach Body's Chelean Extreme program are all about 30 minutes. Also Turbo Jam is a good one. TurboFire is the new Chalean Cardio program available. Go to beachbody.com and check it out

Look into Chalean Extreme its a beach body program. It is mainly strength training but there is some cardio incoroporated into it as well. With as much cardio as you do I would omit that and just doing the strength training days. Good luck. I love CLX and recommend it to everyone wanting to bulk up. You can do search in…

I hope you do well, my experiences with this diet is that it does work and I lose the weight and lose it quickly, I gain it all back and then some. Also it is so so bad on your kidneys with it trying to process all of that protein you are putting your body through. I also found it very hard to stay "regular" and began…

I can't imagine working out withone mine anymore. I can't beleive I went so long before getting mine. I have the Polar FT7 in the women's version. I got mine from Walmart.com for around 90, they don't have in the store but you can order it online. It was the cheapest I was seeing it. Let us know what you decide and what…

I am currently doing Chalean Extreme and Chalene's philosphy is go heavy or go home!!! Basically she says you get better results if you lift heavy and "fail" by 10-12 reps. Do one set of each. Check into that progam, its similar to P90X but with shorter workouts and will not bulk you up. Its a beachbody program. I am…

Honestly my favorite "sweet snack" is a honeycrsip apple with low fat JIF!! YUMMY!!! I have one everyday :)

When I first started I would time my inhales and exhales with my steps so for example two steps inhale, two steps exhale, etc. I had to really slow down my pace at first in order to keep my breathing on task so maybe try slowing it down a bit too until your able to get the breathing down. There are lots of articles out…

I guess I'm the odd man out LOL I listen to upbeat country. Rascal Flatts, David Houser, Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, etc lol Rascal Flatts is my absolute favorite I listen to them ALL the time but its great to workout to

You want one that's not going to get confused when other HRM's are around. The Polar F4 will get this way but anything above that will not. I have a Polar Ft7 in the women's style. I LOVE IT!!! It has a chest strap and frankly I would not recommend getting one without a chest strap because you are not going to get an…

I have another question about this....I work out in the evening the majority of the time. I use a HRM to monitor my calories burnt. By the time I finish working out it is past 8pm most nights. I've heard the rule about not eating past a certain time, so I'm stuck in this dilemma of do I eat back some calories because my…

I suggest that you get an HRM to know exactly how many calories are burning. I am still fooling around with my calorie intake. I try to make sure I'm eating above 1300 calories. My BMR is 1572 so I try to stay close to that and do not drop below 1300. For example say I eat 1300 calories in a day and I then go burn 300…

Every morning I have two pieces of whole wheat toast with Low Fat JIF, 8oz of milk, and a cup of coffee with cream and splenda. All comes to a litte lover 400 calories but it keeps me full till 11:30. I've spoke to my dietician as well and she's a big fan of my breakfast. I eat all of it in the car on the way to work :)

Make sure you are geting your water in. Make sure you are eating ENOUGH calories but good calories. I'm having the same problems myself, its just a trial and error process until you find what works. What I'm finding, too, is that what worked for me in the past isn't working for me now so even though you have been…
