Here is mine! The difference between the pics is 1 year and roughly 130 lbs. I'm shooting for another 40-50 lbs before maintenance!

31 stinking lbs until I get there. I'm so looking forward to it!

Mine seems to be completely random. I lost from my neck, calves, and the tops of my shoulders first. I'm like anytime you want to come off my tummy, that would be great.

I take them, but I have very unique nutritional needs due to surgical changes made to my intestinal tract. However, I do think most people (especially if you are doing low enough calories for weight loss) can usually benefit from a good multivitamin everyday. And a lot of folks have D deficiencies as well. I did even…

You have come to the right place. Welcome!

Which one are you having? I had my duodenal switch 3 weeks ago!

Thanks for sharing! I know how hard that must have been, as I too am quite introverted and shy. I salute your commitment to make a change in your life. I'm working on it, too. Sending fr!

So, I'm not getting sleeve, but I am getting Duodenal Switch 08/17/16. I would welcome any other WLS friends, as well!

So, not my ex, but my husband's ex. She literally and truthfully thought she was the physical incarnation of an angel meant to come to earth to rain down death and destruction upon the world. And then she threw him through a sliding glass door, according to his account of things. So, anything I do is downright sane next to…

I love Unjury protein powder. It's a high quality protein recommended to me by my doctor. 1 scoop is 100 cals and 21 grams of protein. And only 3 sugars! I mix a scoop with about 8-10 ounces of unsweetened vanilla almond milk in the morning with a serving of PB 2 to make a peanut butter cup shake and it's fantastic. You do…

Hi! Feel free to add me. Been here for a long time, lost 70ish lbs, stopped logging, had a personal issue, ate like a mad person, gained it all back. Back again! Need to lose a little over 100 lbs.

Absolutely you can tell a difference! And if you're concerned with muscle loss, just make sure you're getting your protein in and lift some heavy stuff to maintain the muscle you have now. :D ETA: Also, way to go! Great progress. Keep at it. It takes a lot of time and even more effort, but so worth it.

I know a lot of people who do extremely active things and are still overweight. There are lots of explanations that do not defy the laws of physics. 1) They just started their new fitness lifestyle and are in the process of changing (me). 2) They have a medical condition or are taking medication that makes it extremely…

UGH. Ok, I just saw this. And sadly, I wish I had not. It really makes me not want to perform for the general public and just perform for the other dancers in my community. Which is sad, I want to get this dance out there and let everyone know we're here and what we're all about and that this dance is for every BODY.…

   Also, if anything were said about anybody's body in front of one of my teachers, there would be a beatdown. There's a reason we call them the bellydance mafia. LOL

Bumping this for later :D This is the exact type of thread that I need. Thanks!
