Thank you all! I'm feeling so much better. I just started adding in jogging to my exercise routine so we'll see what more exercise does. I'm just incredibly excited! I'm going to take my measurements later today to see if I've lost inches. I've been lacking on the inches measuring. *hugs for all! We can do it!*

For myself, cutting out all soda has been great! I was on a 3 month retreat where I didn't have any soda at all and my first taste of soda after that tasted horrible and I could actually feel how the chemicals affected me... somehow though I got back on it and well... i've been soda free for a few months again. The most…

Water may be a factor. I know I drink alot more water than my Mom does and I'm not experiencing saggy skin.
-
Your age and the elasticity of your skin will be a factor. For example my mom and I are both loosing weight and have lost roughly the same amount. She has some skin sagging yet mine is still tight. Our arms are okay and legs and while my stomach seems fine hers is not. Then again my mom and I have a 20 year age difference.…

If Weight Watchers works for you go for it. I'd still keep tracking everything on mfp as well though. It can't hurt to keep track of both if you're going to do WW anyways.

Thank you everyone! *hugs all*

Thank you so much for the kind words. I greatly appreciate them.

As some may know from previous postings I'm a Harcombe fangirl... One of the reasons I love it.... I'm alloted two squares of dark chocolate a day! I usually shave off half a square at a time on top of plain yogurt and add in a few berries and it's awesome! Plus dark chocolate does have healthful benefits to us and my mind…

I've kinda disregarded my weight goal... I want to get down to a size six in pants with a toned tummy, arms, and my swimmer's legs back!

I lost 20 lbs in a month according to my doctors scale, 15 according to mine. How I did it was following the Harcombe diet. Phase 1 was five days and very restrictive on what i could and couldn't eat but I could eat as much as i wanted of yogurt (natural nothing processed) and a few other things. I've been on phase 2 since…

I'm 5'3 and a small frame... I was really healthy at 136 so my goal is to get to that. I've been at 145 before to and that wasn't that bad. Though I'm told a healthy weight for me is 115 by my doctor.

I'm an emotional eater to... so instead of going to a chocolate shop and i need a pick me up... i generally go for an all fruit smoothie or a fat free yogurt with berries... and if i really need a chocolate fix i shave half a square of dark chocolate over the yogurt. (The diet I'm on allows two small squares of dark…

I would be interested in doing this. This is the first I've heard about insanity but it sounds like just the thing I need to lift spirits and to focus on something besides the regular drone of things. I will send you a message now for more info. Thank you, Selenity

Thank you everyone! I want you all to know that your encouragement helped me to really give something else a try and I'm doing much better. I'm loosing inches almost everywhere and the one place I'm not loosing inches and gaining them I don't mind so much. *grins* (ie yes my bust is gaining inches while my waist and hips…

After struggling with counting Calories (Eating under my calorie limit) I ballooned up to 250lbs. I was depressed then discovered a new to me diet plan and it's been working wonders. My next goal is to reach the 20lbs lost on my scale (my doctors scale says I'm already there). After that my next goal is to get down to 210…

Thank you both! I'm still shocked that I've lost so much weight so quickly but the scale doesn't lie! At least two scales can't be lying! Though my friends say they like my doctors scales much better.

I tend to weigh myself every Saturday, usually after I use the bathroom. I do weigh myself clothed as I have to walk over to the laundry room as that is the only tiled place that isn't either the bathroom my brother and I share or the bathroom in my parents room. Neither parties want our bathroom evacuated and as our scale…

For me counting the calories wasn't helping at all! I would work hard at it and count everything and have the defecit and still feel hungry and gained weight! Then a good friend, Emma, introduced me to the Harcombe diet. I eat as much as I want but I watch how I'm eating and I'm finally steadily loosing weight. It's a…
