Accountability Buddies Wanted
I'm looking for people who hopefully are in the seattle area and wouldn't mind being my accountability buddy. And I tell you I'm not an easy person sometimes when I think I'm right but I really need someone to hold me to account. Not to hold my hand but to help call me out when I'm acting silly or indulging to much. This…

Being careful with how I present my weight loss. (Kids)
A little while ago my heart broke as I discovered that the two girls I am a nanny for were weighing themselves and worrying that they were overweight. Now these girls are by no means overweight. They are slender and petite and only 8 and 10 years old. This happened when their mother and I had moved the scale into the…

Hit the 45 Lbs Lost Mark
I hit the 45 lbs lost mark yesterday and was so tired that I didn't notice I'd entered it wrong til I logged on today and saw that my ticker had only moved a single lb when the loss had been more. So I checked and sure enough I'd entered it wrong. I entered in the correct weight loss amount and gasped when I saw how close…

Decided one of my Rewards...
I've decided one of my rewards for when I reach my goal weight. I'm starting to save for it now but it'll be the most I've ever spent on an outfit and a part of me feels bad about it but the dress is just... gorgeous! I think the corset and skirt is worth it and I'm sure I'll feel gorgeous in it.

Broken up with Again...
So I'd started dating this great guy. Before I thought I'd never be in the same league as him in order to go out with such a good lucking guy that was also smart and funny and willing for adventure. We met through a dating site and I was upfront when he asked me about my weight. I told him I was overweight but had already…

Does this work as Motivation?
I've been tempted to buy a dress that I want to get in the size I want to be... has anyone else done this and had it work? The desire to do this is battling my practical side which is going, what if you become gorgeous at a size that is bigger/smaller than this dress and never get the chance to wear it? Any insights from…

I think this qualifies as a NSV?
So one of the things I was afraid I was going to lose quickly was my breast size. To get used to the idea I had bought a few bras that were a couple sizes smaller and a few that were a cup size smaller. Well... in these past ten weeks I have lost weight on my tummy, and on my but but I've gone from a D to a DD! So the…

How do you cope with loss and still get results? I've managed to maintain my weight and not gain any weight but two very special places in my heart feel like a hole's been punched through. Three actually... 1. My Grandfather died. 2. My Divorce is getting finalized. 3. My Dog of 19 years that I saw get born and was a gift…

I didn't have a scale at my house and when I started this I went and put the last weigh in I knew I had. Then a month later I weigh myself in at a friends house and update my weigh in giddy and happy that I'd lost 23 lbs according to the scale and was 8.5 lbs to my halfway goal! I contributed it to cutting out soda except…
