Be careful not to start gaining. It is never good to come from deprivation. Taking care of yourself and your body is for life after all. I changed what I crave and what I eat for good so I will not be changing what I am eating even after I get to goal.

I think people blame too much on carbs. It is not carbs that is the enemy, it is foods like white bread, white rice, fried potatoes etc etc. I loooove my fruits and veggies. I also think that high protein diets are overrated and can be dangerous. Too many people overdo it with the protein in my opinion.

I put away the scale (no use beating myself up more than I do already) and put on my smallest pants to remind myself I still fit into them. Then I hop right back on the horse. you can read so many topics on this. Just get off the scale and keep working, the scale will follow eventually. It is most likely water retention. You just have to be patient and if that means giving up the scale for a while, so be it! If you are good to your body, it will be good to you too.

I am to the point of putting the scale away for good. I am weight training regularly now and am eating right. I am using the mirror and the way my clothes fit me as a guide. :)
