  • Well I drink more than the recommended because I feel like I need it. I drink till I pee clear, which is about 10 glasses. I drink to feel full and it keeps the headaches away.
  • bump for later
  • http://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/hair-loss/hair-loss-causes-women It's not a doctor but it will give you some information about what you may be going through. I don't have insurance either so I know what it's like to have to either live with a problem or ask other people for advice. Try to see a doctor…
  • When people look to Marilyn Monroe as a role model they look more for the physical features, how she actually looked not necessarily her life and how she lived it. Her beauty lives on for generations even when many people don't know hardly anything about her. She's well known and she is a classic beauty - unfortunately…

  • I feel like I have to exercise. When I don't I get depressed. Exercise just makes me feel better even when I'm sore. I had a trainer tell me that three days a week was good for exercise but he didn't say how long.
  • @arnoswife My husband loves baconasie. I don't care for mayo so I couldn't tell you my opinion. I do know that my husband says it tastes like the best of both things. Hope it helps.
  • Burgers Bacon. Love the stuff, crispy and still melts in the mouth when you eat it. It comes in peppered, applewood smoked, plain, and I'm sure others but those are my favs. Also you can get the bacon bit stuff, the odd end cuts for a cheaper price then the normal bacon.
  • Instead of processed sweets like candy try for natural tasting sweets like fruit and some veggies even sweet potatoes. Drink more water to make yourself feel full. 1500 is good to start with if that's what mfp set you up at and then later when you feel up to it or you hit a plateau you can play with your intake a little.…
  • I started the beginning of January my ticker shows the amount of weight I've lost. I've gone from a 22 pant to a 16, a XXL shirt to a L and weirdly enough from a 42 DD to a 38 DDD (I know really really weird there). I feel great and can't wait to get farther on my goal. Good luck everyone and great job with staying…
  • Congrats on your runniversary and hearing Gods call (also choosing to listen to the call).
  • Thank you everyone :D This has helped me out a lot. Have fun gardening
  • @ misskerouac Thank you for posting :)
  • Thank you very much. I will check that out :)
  • spring rolls, egg rolls, coleslaw all I've got
  • Pretty sure that is water weight.
  • Men lose faster than women (so I've been told), so try not to be competitive about it unless it's going to push you to exercise more and eat healthier foods. I don't have any suggestions on calories, but foods you should try to eat would be fresh and not processed. Drink lots of water to keep water weight down and keep…
  • My dad is the one that got me stuck on this site so I know that they know what I'm going through with this. However my husband up until this last month didn't see how a site could accurately track anything and thought that if I just stuck with what I ate but in smaller portions it would help. In a small way he was right…
  • I stay motivated by thinking of what my dad's friend said to me- he thought that in my heart I was a quitter. I also stay motivated now whenever I see how far I've come; my clothes are too big, my body is slowly tightening up, and I'm capable of exercising longer and am now more flexible. I know that slow is the healthy…
  • Could be water weight. Keep at it and you'll get there. Do exercises with your son, I use to do squats while holding mine and he loved it. Also track any extra carrying you may not normally do with him in your exercise (carry 15 lbs/infant). That way you can stay motivated by somethings you may normally take for granted.
  • They don't seem like very good friends from the way you talk about them. Know that you are taking care of yourself and that when you and your friends get older you are the one that is going to have a healthy body because you are taking care of yourself now, where as they might have problems because they don't see how…
  • I went from having a soda everyday, with every meal to nothing but water, tea, milk, and lemonade. I can't stand the stuff any more! My teeth feel funny, my stomach hurts, and my nose burns from the carbonation in the drinks. I don't know about alcohol since I don't drink very often anyway but soda is a no-no for me…
  • Healthy snack that would be good; dried cranberries, raisins, apples, bananas (really good after hard workouts but high in calories). I went from 2 percent milk to 1 percent milk and I like it. Get some vitamins (just to make sure you keep up on everything your body needs that you may miss in your diet (hopefully won't be…
  • Welcome to the site :)
  • I had problems with cooking when I first started and I often times do still have to ask for help with it. I can at least try to help with an idea about the pizza - for frozen try to cook it at a lower temp for longer time just make sure to watch it so it doesn't get too crispy. I really enjoy tortilla pizzas, a little…
  • Congrats on the weight loss. You look great. Your pictures aren't showing up on the forum though.
  • Times and types of exercise compared to each other, walking vs swimming for example. Ratios of processed foods verse natural foods nutrition wise. The differences in exercises bulking up vs slimming down/ cardio vs weight training. Those are a few of my suggestions. Good luck on your paper :)
  • Happy Mother's day to all those across the pond :D. They keep saying it because it's Mother's Day in the UK. Even the US calendars have it posted with a UK next to it. :)
  • A bike or swimming would be good exercise, Pilates is good for stretching and gets the muscles working but it doesn't build up a sweat like some workouts do I guess. Some low impact dancing would also be good, gets your heart rate up but doesn't require you to run.
