Take whatever they say and put a twist on it. Like if they say you will never lose weight, turn it and say something like "You know you may be right, I'll just become healthy instead." Or just smile and nod then go about your own ideas. Just because one person has a negative outlook doesn't mean that it has to affect yours.

fabulousby45 - As a woman that is his mother you can lead him down the right path. Be an example.

Had a son and got serious about my health. Diabetes runs heavy in the family and at my heaviest I was at 245, I'm only 26. I hated the way I looked and I couldn't do hardly anything. I hopped on this site after my dad lost 30 lbs even with COPD, about half his lung capacity, and just as overweight as I was. I stayed…

I have a 30 day shred dvd. I do the exercises that are 20 minutes long everyday. I also do other workouts with it. I enjoy it now but when I first started it, I hated every minute of it. My last day of my first run (planing on doing it again will be on the 7th of this month)

When I was pregnant with my son I immediately changed my diet to a healthier one that would be best for him. I kept my body healthy and I lost weight because I was only eating things that would help him. I ended up losing about 15 pounds while pregnant and my doctor was happy with it, however I am obese and had weight to…

To the person that put that you don't eat past 9 pm, your body doesn't know what time it is so it doesn't matter when you eat.

Dinner at 4:30 on week days and 5 on weekends. Also get a light snack like an apple around 7. I always wake up hungry in the morning and if I don't eat a snack before bed I get really bad heart burn that wakes me up in the middle of the night.
-
Oranges, apples, bananas for my snack items. Chicken and pork for my meat. Milk and generic cheerios for breakfast. Everything else is just throw whatever we have together and go.

you can go into your foods and select your meals type in breastfeeding and it will give you a list of calories that can be added

"I think you have me confused with your stairs" "No I'm not like the scale at the gym but I'm all yours" "Why so upset? I don't want to tell you anything but the truth"

yes there is a thing as drinking to much water. Weird but it's called water poisoning. You have to drink a lot like over a gallon in a very short amount of time. It makes your body flush everything good and bad out of your system.

I remind myself that I'm trying to lose weight and I've put up a sticky note that has the allotted amount of proteins, fruits/veggies, and dairy that one is suppose to have (according to the health administration) on the fridge so that whenever I feel the urge for something I see that. I also grab a glass of water and…

Congrats to you on the inches and the weight loss

Eleven month old in toe here. Add me if you would like

I've not hear of the company or the products but it could be that your friend is going through what a lot of people do when they start a diet. They are full of expectations and enthusiasm about starting it and when they lose a lot of weight when they first start it only improves their mood about it. With any company that…

I think that some people are missing the point of the post. I think this is just to supply support and tell people to prove to themselves that they can lose weight, not to say that all science is wrong or that it has no place in this matter.
-
That's a major difference. You are doing great, keep it up.

What more should I say/do? Continue being supportive but don't baby. If she is sitting and doing nothing but you are going to exercise invite her to go with. What would you appreciate in the same situation? I know that my dad did something that affected me majorly. He went and lost 30 lbs in order to spend time with my…

I have a similar problem. My husband is the only one that is able to buy groceries- one income family with one car. He will pick up what he thinks is what we should eat. Often times he will also pickup junk food for him. It's really hard to avoid the bad food, especially since I'm a stay at home mom. I check all the…

That's amazing. Great job :)

I do 30 day shred everyday, followed by Shimmey (belly dancing), walk around the block or down to the store which takes 15-30 minutes, then also do some random training at home like crunches, pushups, and stuff like that.
-
I've gotten that way a couple of times. I usually grab a banana or some other type of fruit to tide me over till lunch. The sugar and the juice keeps me going but in my mind fruit burns off quickly so I don't feel guilty about it.
-
So I've had this 30 day shred thing for a while but didn't start it till February. My sister had it and didn't do anything with it so I got it. I've been doing it since the 7th, started out on level 1 and now I'm up to level 3. I do it everyday and I add belly dancing to it afterwords in order to keep me motivated and get…

When I talked to a trainer about this he said that if you work out an hour before you have breakfast then it will burn the calories that you have already stored instead of using the food that you just ate as fuel to burn off.
-
Truly amazing. You are and will be an inspiration to others for the rest of your life. Congratulations and continue with your journey.

Congrats! You look beautiful.
