haha I was the EXACT same way--I youtubed everything before I did it, even "basics" like bench press and squats, just so I could be certain to do it right. It's much more helpful than the little diagrams on the machines.

You look fantastic--great work!!!

I don't let it be an option. My alarm goes off, I get up. I sleep in my gym shorts and pack my bag the night before. And it does start my day off right!! :)

1800, i'm usually a little under..but i make up for it on the weekends. :)

I just added a bunch of you--I didn't even really know you could have Nike+ friends! I only run about 12 miles/week, and it's almost always indoors, but I'm hoping to increase that average this year and move it outdoors a bit. Feel free to add me if I didn't get you--username is Sarah_Oehlerking.

DAYYYYUM. Way to go girl!!

5'4", and I thought my goal was 125, but I got to 127 and started strength training....I've lost an inch from waist and hips, but I've gained 2 pounds. So now I'm ignoring the scale and focusing on measurements--and I'd say I'm where I want to be. :)

5'4"--128lb--25%BF--1800cal/day to lose (not eating back exercise cals)--5-6 hours at the gym (between cardio and strength) each week. I honestly believe I could increase my calories, but since I'm also a little nervous about the IPOARM method, I tend to go lower than I should out of habit. But over the holidays, I plan to…

I inhale pizza. It's a little embarrassing, but 42 pounds down, it doesn't seem to be giving me too much trouble. Also, the Digornio nutrition facts are per 1/6 not 1/8 (like most people slice it)...just FYI. :)

You are AMAZING--your hard work really shows!!!
-
5'4" 129lb, exercise 5-6 hours (strength & cardio) per week, and I'm losing at 1800. I heart food!!

What great work!!! You look fantastic!!

#3 for sure. :)

I was a New Year's girl too! What an awesome change--you look fantastic!!

In general, "heavy lifting" is anything that you can just barely squeak out 10 reps. (Or I guess 5 if you're doing the SL method.) For me, I do 8-10-12 reps, and I've only been strength training for a couple months...I wish I could do more, and I'm trying to increase my protein, but so far the increases are slow. Bench: 45…

WOW you look fantastic!!! what hard work!!

Add me--I snack all day long!

Just a thought--people will probably want to look at your diary to see how many calories you're eating. And it's rare to burn 1000 cal/workout (weight training doesn't burn nearly as much as MFP likes to think it does), but it definitely sounds like you're very active! If it were me, I'd say tone it down. Take a week off.…

You look great--way to go!!

hahaha i mean my selfish little head once in awhile THINKS "shoot that fool is on the machine in front of my news show; she don't even know"...but then, like a normal person, I find another machine. it would take another big old dose of crazy for me to actually have the gall to mention that to anyone. Seriously.
-
way to go--you look fantastic!!

I'm 5'4" 127lb and I have a BF of approximately 25%. If that's accurate, sincere props!! But I know when I was at 170, my BF% was much higher than that, and I had very little muscle. But way to go in trying to find out your BF%--it is, of course, a MUCH better indicator of fitness than the scale. :)
-
You could have said it. You could have photographed it. But the fact that you drew a dino-comic about it...that's what makes you awesome.
-
that's fantastic!!! great for her!!

run an extra one for me!

5'4" 127-130lb depending on the day Size 4-6 Just a note: The scale has stopped moving, and it's even gone up (from 126 to 130), but I've lost an inch on my hips and on my waist. The scale is a lying *kitten*; take measurements! :)

You rock!!! Way to go!
