  • Lost 4.8 pounds this past week. That's the stuff I like to lose and never find again! Goals this week are to continue my water intake and get on a regular exercise plan. Garbage to take out is negative self talk. Inspiration: I saw my sister this weekend and she has lost almost 50 pounds and looks amazing! She feels good…
  • Lost 4.8 pounds since last Monday. I'm not getting the exercise I want, but that will come. Because of the amount of extra weight I'm carrying I'm a little fearful of injury. But, I am still a forward thinker and will continue to try as much as I can.
  • Your results are awesome! Looks like a lot of inches lost overall as well as more pounds. Great job!
  • I had a slight gain of 0.6 this past week. My husband lost his job last week and this put me into a tailspin. No desire to exercise. No appetite. No sleep. What I did eat was not planned. This is a new week. Fresh outlook. Still not much of an appetite, but will make better choices. Setting goals the same as last week to…
  • I am laughing as I read these posts because I can relate. Coughing, sneezing, sometimes no apparent reason. I've often wondered if it might be hormone related because I notice it happens more often at certain times of the month. But, Poise pads have saved me. I've noticed coupons in the Sunday paper and have started…
  • Other than when I was pregnant (both times), have not been this heavy. And, I can totally relate to getting off the couch (lol). This is a journey. I am learning new things every day about myself and living a healthier lifestyle.
  • Lost 1.4 pounds this week. Was hoping for more, but still happy with the loss. Goals for the week (2): Garbage: Not really garbage, but no carbs (breads/pasta/rice) with the evening meal. I feel a little bloated afterward and have a hard time getting to sleep. Moving: Increase my time from 30 min to 45 min of exercise.…
  • Was hoping for more, but will settle for the loss of 1.4 pounds during week 1. Better down than up.
  • Great Job everyone!
  • Garbage to give up: Processed sugars Moving: Turbo jam videos at least 3X (already did Tuesday and very sore today) Inspirational Quote: Gluttony is an emotional escape, a sign something is eating us. ~Peter De Vries
  • I am now 44 years young with two sons, 16 and 9. I have been overweight since grade school. I lost weight before I got pregnant with my first son (43 pounds), but gained it all plus 35 pounds during my pregnancy. I managed to lose about 50 over the next several years before getting pregnant with my second son. After he was…
  • You look wonderful! So much younger looking now than before. Keep up the great work.
  • I too would love to join this challenge. I would like to meet the 30 lbs loss goal, but I will not beat myself up if I do not. I have spent to much of my life being self-critical and that only sends me to eat. I'm 44 years young and have carried an extra 70 lbs for far too long. Let's do this!!!! Weight 4/1/13: 212.4…
  • Ham (glazed with cherry preserves, Dijon mustard, horseradish, and brown sugar), baked sweet potatoes with butter (spray butter for me) and cinnamon, steamed green beans, blueberry jello salad, and pineapple upside down cake (which I will pass on due to wheat intolerance). ~ Husband and kids are in it for the ham.
  • Many years ago (18 years) I lost 43 pounds prior to having children. My husband (now my ex) was not very supportive. He would discourage my exercise nights and want to go out to eat, a lot. There were several occasions where the waiters openly flirted/stared at me in front of my ex, hardly acknowledging him. He took…
  • I'm in!. Need the motivation. I am 5' 4" and weigh 212.8. Goal by the end of April is to be 198 (puts me in "one"derland).
