The tightest white pants I can find. YOLO

A bit concerned that you're saying purging... but Marcia is right. It's two days. Back to it after. Hopefully there will be dancing at the wedding? Get out there and shake a tail feather!

5'1" - I eat around 1540 per day. (No eating back of exercise cals) I lift 2x a week - may increase to 3. Usually 1/2 per session - I lift heavy I do a cardio kickboxing class 1- 3 times a week depending on my schedule. 1 hr per session - fairly high intensity

Thank you for addressing this. This seems to be missing in a lot of these "Weight loss" shows. These are people who are suffering emotionally and are coping to fill a void/cover the hurt with food.

I need to lose 40 lbs for my super awesome birthday in August. This can be done, right? Just a lot of cardio, a cleanse and I'm done, right? That deficit thing sounds like a hassle.
-
Nope. I'm a special snowflake. I tried it, I eyeballed my foods and guesstimated. Oh and I don't log every day. I lifted a 10lb dumbbell and got man arms. I ain't doing THAT ever again. BOGUS
-
See what Rigger just posted as well - but you'll need to pay attention ALL week. Start logging and weighing/measuring.

Sounds like you answered your question. Time to recalculate! :flowerforyou:

I tried Five Guys away from home. (Aka out of state) Eh. According to the hubs, it wasn't quite the same as the version back home. I guess I'll have to give it one more try locally.. or just be thankful that I didn't immediately fall in love with it! I loved the Coke machine, though!

Eh, my husband will trade me in once I hit 40.

This will help :) http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1161603-so-you-want-a-nice-stomach ETA: @ usmcmp - did we really just post within seconds of each other??

I'm going to start doing another strength day. You look awesome girl! :drinker:

I pre-log. When I don't, I end up saying, "It was THAT many calories? I didn't know if had THAT much sodium!" Plus when I pre-log, my losses are far more steady.

I'm the weirdo at work. I get questions every few months regarding my personalized license plate (it's a potion from RPG's) and here's my geek wall and the upper part of my desk.

THIS. I'm 5'1" - I'm just trying to shed the last dregs of body fat. Currently I'm a little under 123. It may/may not equate to -5 or -10 lbs, but I'm going to go by BF% and the tape measure.

SL - INDEED! Back to the thread at hand... I did grab the Kindle version of this book a few years ago as I had some friends follow the diet. I was curious and gave it a whirl for a nano second. The going to bed hungry thing ticked me off within the first few days. Plus Bob said a few things in it that made me go...…

You. I like you. :drinker: Although I'll probably eat my Talenti at 11pm while rewatching Attack on Titan.

You are a true Patriot. :drinker:

This. Slow and steady wins the race. You're on a good start - are you thinking about upping your cals and strength training? I can barely function on 1200 - and I'm a rather petite woman with a few years on ya.

^^ THIS x 10000

I love you.

HAH! I just did the same thing. The only 'inactives' I am keeping are my local friends in case they decide to reactivate. Otherwise, keep it movin'.

Depends on the intensity and my post-workout plans. I usually go straight home, make dinner and do some housework and stay in my workout clothes for another hour or two and then shower. BUT, if it was an extra intense workout, I hop in the shower as soon as I get home. If I'm meeting up with friends after, I shower at the…

^^ THIS!! I follow this group as well. I strive to be as close as I can (back on track after vacation). But I was told that +/- 5 g gives you the wiggle room. I'm trying to get closer to my fat target. Luckily I just started switching to 2% Greek yogurt, so that'll help. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

Bumping for later!

^^THIS. I lost count of how many times I've heard that I'll get bulky from lifting heavy. It ain't ever gonna happen unless I do some rather drastic stuff. I guess because muscles mean "not feminine" to some. Whatever. Then again, I'd love to yell, "NATALIE SMASH!" and have everyone run for cover. A girl can…

Yes, Sodium can definitely cause a fluctuation on the scale. On Friday I was light. On Monday I 'gained' 2 lbs. I had a LOT of sodium. (Cookouts, graduation party, hanging with friends...) Also, you may want to consider opening your diary to the public if you'd like more guidance. Keep tracking, drink plenty of water and…

Again? Well, welcome back, peanut butter!! Peanut butter can fit into any diet. Just weigh it out and you'll be fine. :flowerforyou:

 Good to know. That one just happened to be a new one for me. White Knight is an oldie but goodie.
