Something that I don't think was mentioned here is also to stay hydrated! That has helped me feel a lot better since MFP has made me more conscious of it :)

When I first read your post, I actually thought about how I get upper abdominal cramping when I exercise and I'm dehydrated. After reading some replies, I don't think that it is related, but just wanted to remind you to stay hydrated as well. Who knows - maybe it will help!

If you're running (or doing some other kind of cardio), always stretch afterwards! I get sore the next day if I don't, even if it's a low-intensity workout on the elliptical. If I do stretch, my muscles feel great. It helps to get rid of the lactic acid that builds up. As far as strength training goes, I don't have much…
