Well, I already failed #1 so far in November, so starting NOW... 1. eat exactly what i preplan each day - even on weekends (unless I am actually so hungry i'm being mean to my body by not feeding it more) 2. continue to lift 2 - 3 times a week 3. figure out how to fit in a 3rd run each week

I accidentally started this way too...now that's it's too heavy to do 5x5 but I still WANT to do 5x5 I do progressive load up to my max. Which ends up pretty much being 2 warm-up sets and 3 good sets. :) This was an idea the wonderful ladies here suggested to me and it's working well! Actually, progressive load has helped…

pusher!!!! i rock at all the pushing moves...and totally stink at all of the pulling. but i prefer the pulling moves...hmmm, that's sort of interesting actually. never noticed that before.

Success!! I did my squats without dread this morning! I did progressive load, which really just turned into 2 warmup sets and 3 working sets, but I ended higher than ever before!). And I repeated Rippletoe's quote over and over in my head. :) Here's hoping I can keep up this attitude. Thank you!

yes, dani, that's right...i did front squats, then hack, now back to front. maybe i'll look into other variations. and doing 5x5 one day and 3x5 another is a great idea! i'll definitely start with that. i'm not exactly sure what i hate about them...maybe it is just that it's HARD, especially knowing the squats are coming.…

i started with front squats, then switched to hack...they were fine for several weeks. then the weight got too heavy for my back...i hated them so much. i probably could have looked into form a bit, but like i said...i hated them. so now i'm back to front squats, doing ATG so i can do at a lower weight since power cleaning…

A fast doesn't help me recover...it just sets me up for binge/fast/binge/fast cycles. Would imagine it would be heathier and easier to recover by eating "normally" for weight loss...20%ish under your TDEE. Usually I binge on unhealthy food, so my body needs some nourishment...so I feed it healthy food in healthy portions.…

Strange...I scored low...11. I guess because I almost always control my urges??? But when I don't - LOOK OUT. Perhaps the urges are more normal than I thought? Or maybe some of the choices on the quiz were either "none - I'm totally fine" and then the other 3 options were almost the same as each other and seemed too…

I do chin-ups (well...negatives...haha) and push-ups in between sets. But I did NOT know I was supposed to be readjusting in between reps!! I use stacked plates since I only have up to 10 pound weights, so I just pile those on...but anyway, I stack plates to get the correct height. I just let it hit the plates and…

Thank you!! Yes, I'm definitely doing this (what booya said) with the extra 5. But I really do only feel my form slipping with this extra 5. Also, the eat, train, progress group recommended that i increase DLs to 5x5 as I can't do "real" squats b/c no squat rack. I do front squats ATG, DB lunges, and 5x5 DLs for leg work.…

My middle and lower back...and I can tell my form isn't quite right, even though I REALLY think it is correct 5 pounds lighter. Like my legs are already straight but then I still have to lift my back upright. And I know that's wrong. I'll try to REALLY talk myself up before I do them next time...try to feel super confident…

make sure it's really isolate. the same thing happens to me with regular whey...i just posted on here 2 weeks ago and was advised to try isolate...got some and i've been fine ever since!!

After Insantiy, I kept doing the 3 main month 2 workouts 3xs a week and ran 2 days. Finally SICK of insanity, haha, so since January I've been strengh training 3xs a week, running 2xs.

Ordered a 2 pounder of extreme milk chocolate ON from amazon. :) comes out to $1 a scoop, so mixed w almond milk for breakfast...well that's a cheap breakfast and 25 g protein. I'll keep the vegan recommendations in mind if the isolate doesn't work out. Thanks again!
