ooh, great and exciting news! my husband says he bought some free weights and a benchpress off craigslist, so i will have some equipment at home! gonna try MWF - weights Th/Sun - run that leaves 2 rest days...haha...hope i can manage that. that will be new for me. :) i'll do abs on those days and take a walk or something…

I prefer running to insanity so i guess i'm wondering also...do i consider insanity JUST as cardio?? or is there any strength building benefit left for me? if it's purely cardio at this point (or just muscle maintainment, or whatever you'd call that), then i'd rather run. running is good for my soul...insanity is not. :)…

Wow! Thanks so much for the replies! I'm a teacher...I posted the original post before classes started and this is the first chance I've had to check on replies! I'll be back again later for more reading. I can absolutely add in a rest day. I do not have a ED and I LOVE to eat, so no worries there. :) I work at a middle…

honestly, i wouldn't worry about logging if i was breastfeeding...your body needs calories to produce enough milk. the important part is that your baby gets the best...and a bonus is that it does burn lots of calories. i think you're supposed to eat 500 calories more, so maybe log it as 500 calories burned?? i agree with…

I hope to be down to 120 by the end of January. I'm hoping that the first few pounds will fall right off...gotta be some serious water weight in there with all that terrible eating and drinking I did!! :) Weigh in Dates: 1/1 - 127 1/8 1/15 1/22 1/31 Total weight lost: Just for fun: What is your fitness resolution for 2013?…

wow. you are amazing.

i'm a 4:30 getter-upper. :) DO NOT HIT SNOOZE!!!!!!!!!!!!! just get RIGHT UP. it sucks...but i've never once regretted it! just GET RIGHT UP!!!!
-
why don't you just start insanity and do it for 2 weeks and see if you feel like you need more? it's not only cardio...i promise you'll feel it in every muscle in your body.
-
not to be nosy, but are you breastfeeding? if so, i don't know if i'd do insanity yet. it is really intense and (from my own experiences with my own 2 kids at least) exercise that intense can screw up your milk supply. just a thought... :) if you're NOT nursing, then insanity is awesome!! i love it and have had great…

i'm a DD...i LOVE the shock absorber running bra...expensive but it's wonderful. i ordered it online. highly highly recommend it!!
-
i've done 2 rounds of insanity...it's ALWAYS hard for me!!! :) but i LOVE IT!!!!

i have everything figured out except for binges. b/c when i binge i don't CARE about what it will do to my weight loss. i don't CARE AT ALL. i'm in a totally different pscho mindframe and no amount of talking to myself or journaling will help. i'm trying something new right now where i'm keeping a dry erase board in the…

yep...protein. i also don't go very long without eating. i need to eat 5 smaller meals. i agree with keeping food around. i keep almonds in my glove compartment in case i get dizzy/sweaty and i'm driving.

i think that if you do it regularly, you should have your activity level set higher...and then you don't log your exercise. that's what i do at least. i'm set to active and i only log my exercise if i do something extra that day...i don't log my normal workouts. or if i had my activity level set to sedentary i'd log all…

congratulations!!!! i gained a few pounds back thinking "oh, one night off won't kill me..." which was followed quickly by LOTS of "oh, one night off won't kill me". i seem to do better with restrictions...this was a slippery slope for me. i'm still working on this and, after the holidays, i think will have to set some…

heck, yeah!! i do it all the time. look at your weekly instead of daily.

my husband asks for the chicken parmesan every week! we also love the carnitas and the italian wedding soup...which i think is called turkey meatball and escarole soup.
-
plain greek yogurt and balsamic vinegar!! YUM!! i use 1/4 c yogurt and 2 T balsamic...whisk it together. it is so good.
-
chicken fajitas and ignore the rice and beans. :) that's what i do anyway.
-
i would do c25k first, do your 5k...then do insanity. you'll find after you do insanity your running will be much improved! faster, easier, longer.
-
eat!!!!! your job right now is to make food for your baby! :) your life is too stressful right now to worry about calories...eat and sleep and enjoy those little ones!!
-
the yasso frozen greek yogurt bars do the trick for me...6 grams protein (i know, not much) and 70 calories. they are really thick so take a little while to eat. yum!!
-
i was gonna ask if you're eating enough...i think your body IS telling you it's hungry, by feeling weak and being unable to sustain exercise. also, if you start eating a little more and thus exercising more, you will probably see a gain of a few pounds at first. that happened to me at least. then you'll see the scale go…

get up early and work-out before your son gets up.
