Go on a website and work out your BMR, then your TDEE and aim to eat halfway between the two. MFP automatically puts 1200 which in actual fact was less than my BMR and was why I plateaued for two months after initially losing four pounds

I am 31, 115cm tall and 128lbs, my goal is at least 114lbs. I am going to try for another week and then see about going up to 1300 calories.

but for the last two days you have eaten just 800 calories, isn't that dangerous?

I have just started this, and even if I say I want to lose half a pound a week it tells me to have 1200 a day - am I doing something wrong??
