Uhh does it matter? If the size 8 is a new accomplishment then THAT is the important part.

That's awesome! I'd love to get down to a size 8...never been a single digit size in my life!

Curries and stirfrys make great vegetarian meals. Tofu can be used in either, as well as beans like chickpeas!

Great job! I'm glad to see someone else who has taken a few years to change their life. I've lost about 120lbs over the past 5-6 years, alternating between actively losing and maintaining. I feel that by not dropping everything at once I have more of a chance of keeping all that weight off. So congratulations on all your…

Be sure to go to sleep earlier! If I don't get at least 6 hrs of sleep then there is no way I'm going to feel ready to workout super early. For me, knowing that the morning will be the only time I can get to the gym is usually enough motivation. I hate missing out on a perfectly good chance to workout.

I cut up fruit into it such as berries or peaches. I also like it on a dense cracker like a triscuit.

Oh man where to start! I think my most annoying characteristic is that I pile things. Papers, books, clean clothes. I leave piles of stuff in my wake wherever I go haha. I can manage to keep the majority of shared space clean and even tidy at times but every surface that is mine and mine alone is covered with a pile of…

I agree with everyone else that dark chocolate is a great way to curb cravings. If portion control can be a problem try separating the squares into a baggie or wrap with tin foil so you can grab just one at a time. An whole candy bar can be a dangerous thing! I also made these the other day and brought them to work and…

Hey there! I have one more semester of classes to finish up my BSN and I would love to be part of your support system! feel free to friend me =]

Hey there! I'm 23 and I have around 20-30 more pounds to lose after losing over 100lbs over the past few years. Feel free to add me, I log every day and would love more supportive people who still have a fair amount of weight to lose.

-I spread it on toast and top with a fried egg for a delicious open faced breakfast sandwich -crumbled on a baby spinach salad with dried cranberries and pecans and sweet vinaigrette -on toast with fig preserves

Your leg pain sounds a lot like sciatica. I have issues with sciatica from a slipped disc and have been through physical therapy a few times to help it. I was told that the best thing I can do for it is strengthen my core and stay active and lose weight. Despite losing almost 100lbs since the initial flare I still…

yum! can't wait to try =]

23 y/o nursing student and food experimenter! I'd love some friends who love to cook/concoct fun dishes. I blog some of my recipes when I'm not too lazy but am *trying* to do it more. Feel free to send a message and request =]

I've started shopping at thrift and consignment stores to help bulk up my diminishing wardrobe. I've lost over 100 lbs total and went down from a 22/24 to a size 12. At first I just cinched my belt tighter, making new holes when necessary but once those clothes started looking absolutely terrible and way too big I decided…

I just made my own buttermilk ranch dressing with 1 cup of low fat buttermilk, 1/4 cup mayo, 1/4 light sour cream, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, and some chopped herbs and salt and pepper. Its so good and about 60 cals for 2 tbsp.

If skipping breakfast doesn't make you so hungry that you end up overeating later then I say skip it. I always eat breakfast in the morning before work, even if I'm not hungry, because I don't have time to eat at work until lunch on most days. If I'm not working early then I just eat my first meal whenever I'm hungry for…

I also feel like my collarbones now stick out more than I would like them to. And my forearms are getting very lean while the upper arms still look too large =/ Unfortunately we can't choose where we slim down first. If we could I would definitely lose my belly fat ASAP! ETA: You look great in your picture! I think the…

Congrats on your awesome accomplishment! Soon you'll be hitting the 2nd mile then the 3rd, 4th and so on! Running becomes surprisingly addictive once you realize what you're capable of!

Laura you look STELLAR! You are definitely motivating me to kick it into high gear girl! We have similar starting stats and I want to look as smoking hott as you!!!! Keep up the amazing work =]

One thing that helps me is logging on the weekend, even if I will go over in calories. It helps me keep track of where I'm actually at so at least I don't have to wonder why my weight loss is slower than I'd like

Congratulations on all your hard work and dedication!

I am 5'10" and at my lowest, which is right now, I am hovering between 185-190. I would like to get to 170lbs and see how I feel. I have built a lot of muscle so I'm not concerned about needing to be a certain number. I'd like to fit into a size 8 or 10. Yesterday I bought my first pair of size 12's (YAY) but I'm still…

You look great!

Your muscles might be holding on to water as they try to repair themselves. I've heard people say that the best time to weigh-in is the morning after a rest day where they don't exercise. Even if the scale isn't moving as fast as you'd like try to focus on how you feel. Take some measurements and then in a few weeks take…

Meal planning has helped me a lot. I also work in health care and its so easy to get caught up and forget to eat! I eat breakfast at 5/5:30am, usually some oatmeal or an egg on a piece of toast with coffee. Then I might bring some fruit and yogurt for a morning snack that I usually have to shove in my face quickly in…

I keep a couple of Gorton's Signature Grilled Haddock fillets in the freezer for when I want a low calorie and quick meal. I usually cook up some brown rice and frozen spinach if I don't have any fresh vegetables to work with. Each fillet is 70 calories and come two to a box. I usually have 2 (140 cal), with 3/4 cup of…

The equipment keeps breaking and it takes forever for things to get fixed! And 1 out of 4 stalls in the bathroom has a working lock. I would never pay more than $10 to go to such a crappy gym lol

Soy beans have a lot of iron...though they also have protein...
