Drugs. Drugs help me a lot. I take a stack I call M. E. T. H. It's a combination of muscletech, energy supplements, testosterone boosters, and health supplements like fiber and a multivitamin. Thus the meth. I wake up an hour earlier than I go to the gym. Pop the stack with a couple glasses of water and lie back down. By…

I did a month of no sugar just to see if I could. You're right, there's sugar and corn syrup in everything processed. Or at least it seems that way. The cravings that hit you in the beginning are going to be murder. Especially working at a summer camp. The good news is that your body will get over it after a couple weeks.…

The answer is usually a) water retention, b) over estimation of calories burned, c) under estimation of calories consumed, or d) a macro nutrient imbalance. My advice is take an honest look at what you're doing and reevaluate your plan.

As cliche as it sounds "do, or do not. There is no try" in losing weight. The best advice I can give is to make a decision and stick with it. Especially when you're still in school because you're going to have so many distractions. If you need feedback and accountabity feel free to add me. Otherwise best of luck with your…

Yes. For the wee wee guy: It's because you use the same neuromuscular pathways for the butt and genitalia. It's just generally easy to contract both sets of muscles than differentiate. Has anyone else noticed that on the little to no carb diet your teeth get whiter and you have no plaque when you wake up?

Aut Vincere Aut Mori! Either conquer, or die!

Doing it under the strength section is just for you to keep track of what your doing. Logging it under the cardiovascular section will show you how many kcals you burned and update your profile.

I know what you mean about mfp. It's very...determined...that you follow it's preconceptions. However you can change your macros to whatever level you want. Well, within reason that is. I just switched mine this morning from 55% carbohydrate to 5%. To do that go to your goals and select custom instead of recommended. It…

Try little to no carbohydrate. Carbohydrate provides glucose for the body to burn. Without the glucose the body is forced to burn fatty acids and convert protein to keytone bodies. This increases fat metabolism in a couple of ways. One it retards insulin production allowing for a greater quantity of fatty acid release from…

I have not read any clinical trials on nicotine consumption and the e-cigarettes. I speak only anecdotally, as the versions my cousins bought have a selector that allows them to control how much nicotine they get with each puff. Before anyone thinks there's an inconsistency with how my cousins received them let me say that…

Like I said. I'm curious on account of the fact that all the literature says that for my height, weight, bmi, et cetera, I should be a lot higher than I am. I know I'm not dying, but was wondering why it would be so low since I am so out of shape. Everyone I've seen with such low rhr's have been around one hundred pounds…

Knee jerk reaction?
-
Thanks but I am not bradycardic on account of adequate perfusion, nor do I suffer from hypotension. My BP is 122/78. I'm just curious on account of all the literature that says it should be closer to sixty.

Drugs. I wake up half an hour earlier than I need to. Drink a glass of water and down a drug cocktail that includes a stimulant, multivitamin, fiber supplement, and metabolic booster. Then lie back down to let them take effect. Half an hour later the drugs have kicked in and I'm pumped to go to the gym. Or you can try a…

Nordic walking? Sounds like walking in chain mail with a horned helmet and axe. Heading towards the longship to go aviking. A little rapine, murder, pillage and burning. Awesome exercise program!
-
It depends on how you set up your account in the first place. If you did the walking before you started mfp and factored it into your base activity level then no. This is because mfp already accounts for the walking. It's base assumption is that you do this daily in any case. However if you did not factor it into your…

They are nothing but a vapourized nicotine solution. While the nicotine is just as harmful the user is not inhaling the tar, glue, and other carcinogens involved with smoking tobacco. What makes the electronic cigarette valuable for quitting is the fact that you can gradually step down the nicotine content. Many clinical…

Greetings, There is actually a group for those who have 100 lbs. or more to lose. It's fairly popular and rather supporting. You should be able to find it by searching the groups page with the keyword 100 lbs. I joined it a week ago and the people in it have been fairly helpful. S,

If you need low impact cardio, not much beats swimming in efficacy. Even the military, well USN, uses swimming as a measure of cardiovascular fitness.

I concur with all the above. I'd just like to caution you about such frequent weighing. Especially in the beginning. It's really easy to become discouraged with the whole affair by looking at the scales so often.
-
My cousins got them as gifts last Christmas. They do not seem to understand that you have to step down the nicotine content....

It is as it were, a most dispicable villainy practiced upon this unassuming public, made honest by the honesty with which it were, and indeed is, perpetrated. The facts decry the fallacy of their foundation and thus do I make mention of this my unpopular, and oft derided, truth. What is for one is not oft for everyone.…

I stopped listening to the asanine suggestions of people who had no idea about the subject at hand yet insisted on parroting half truths and misunderstandings as gospel truth.

Marine Corps. dress blues.

You could try swimming. Nice, cool, and a good burn!

23. Losing weight to enlist. I log in every day. Willing to help.

23 if you'd like to add me.

All of them, but I only eat what I burn.

Vigorous, as beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. It's not about how fast you're going but how hard your working. That's why the program does not concern itself with distance. As you lose weight and get stronger you'll have to swim faster, harder, and longer to work as hard. Thus what's vigorous for you is not…
