My mother, a women of 53, has hypothyroid as well. She is currently at 5'5 145 pounds. She was able to lose her weight after having two children, so can you!! :) It is super hard for her. She will workout for an hour or more every night. But she has accomplished her goals so far! And so can you! Best of luck!

Hi! I'm actually alittle smaller that 125, about 120 right now. I am 5'2 and pretty petite, but with a really large chest size. Ick! My sister though is 5'5 and she is 125, and I think she looks really awesome! :)

Its all about the calorite counting!!!! If what you put in is more than what your body burns, then your body gets heavier. If what you put in is LESS than what you burn, you will lose weight!

HI! Since you are already a runner, cutting down on calorie intake will definatly help with belly fat. Also, doing sit ups (about 50 every night) will help too! Glad you joined MFP! :)

ok! for the inner thigh thing, i use a pillow! Just fold it in half, and put it between your legs and squeeze until you can't squeeze anymore!!!

Everytime I visit my grandmothers house, she makes it her duty to "put some meat on my bones" AKA lets stuff as much food into Virginia as possible! We had a visit last weekend, and Maw maw made her famous pork roast...needless to say, I avoided the scale for quite awhile....

Keep a journal of what you ate. :) It will be harder to count calories, so just try your very best to eat everything in moderation. Im sure you know what foods to stay away from! Just dont change your eatting habits, and Best of luck!!!

I actually don't eat my exercise calories. I normally workout in the evenings, so i just try not to eat at all after i finish. But if you are hungry, then eat them! :)
