Supplements are not as good as the real thing when it comes to fruit and veg... the body doesn't absorb them as well or in the same way - you are always better off getting your vitamins and minerals from proper food sources :-)

Don't worry - I drink heaps of water too, and no matter how much I drink, whenever I get on body analysis scales they always say my water content is about 45% which is very dehydrated - so who knows?? lol

I must be old fashioned too...lol.. I agree - I understand people look at others - but seeing someone in the street and thinking they are attractive is completely different to going to a strip club to purposefully ogle women/ men getting naked and doing acts (especially the female strippers - some of the stuff they do is…

I have what I class as 'thick' legs too - I've been told I have athletic legs..lol... and the more exercise I do with them the more bulked up they get - I have never had nice skinny little calves - EVER! Even at my skinniest where I was happiest with my body - I still never had the legs I would have liked.. my body just…

I used to be like that most days. I cut sugar (except from pieces of fruit) out of my diet as much as I could, and within a couple of weeks that horrible "hungry hippo" feeling was gone - I don't get like that at all now... It used to drive me nuts constantly looking for something to fulfill a craving, so glad I don't have…

Love it!!

I do zumba at home and use a HRM and mine tells me I only burn about 400 for a 60 min workout.... I mustn't work as hard...lol

Feel free to add me too :-)

I did it - yay!! Am feeling it too - I have very little upper body strength!

For starters - punch your partner in the face (good cardio..hehe) but seriously - he should be supporting you - not bringing you down! I have lost in my face and boobs too, and still have a big bum, and I know I look out of proportion at the moment, but I also know that as I keep going the rest of me will catch up and I'll…

I love my zumba too - I only do it at home... and I do it most days of the week.. it's awesome and you can feel where it is working :-)

I usually have eggs for breakfast.. I use 1 egg, and 3 egg whites, a little bit of milk. Scramble them and have them with a couple of pieces of toast, or sometimes I will have a little bacon with it. You are better off aiming for a high protein breaky. Maybe for something different and easy you could make a smoothie with…

The sugar is what gets me.. I gave up sugar 5mths ago - and couldn't believe how much sugar there is added to so many different foods! It's incredible... Basically if there is more than 10g/100 of sugar I don't touch it, and I try to keep my foods under 5g/100 (except fruit of course).. but I found it really shocking how…

Awesome job! You are an inspiration! Well done you :-D

Welcome to MFP! And what an inspiration you are - going with the option of eating well to lose weight instead of putting your life at risk with surgery. You are brave! This is a fantastic website and you will find lots of support and information. All the best with your journey! I have sent you a friend request. I am on…

I had the same problem for the last few months, I would lose 5kg, then gain it straight back. lose it, gain it - and it frustrates the **** out of me!!! I am hoping this time it will keep going.. can only soldier on... but if it is getting you really down like it sounds, maybe give it all a break for a few weeks, just eat…

I can imagine it would be the last thing on your mind, but there are a LOT of calories in alcohol, so I would definitely be tracking it to a degree and keeping an eye on it - the last thing you want is to be watching your food and doing really well with that, only to have your weight loss efforts hampered by consuming huge…
