One day won't ruin you, and it's going to happen, that's life. You go over by 500 calories one day, will be made up by the next few days. Don't stress over it, but don't let it be a constant :p

Hell, I'm in. It'll be nice. Won't have to roll back the mat on the floor... Good deal. No scale til July 5th.

And would that still leave me wanting to eat back my calories, or would that be all worked in? I get it... but... i don't get it... lol. I love the overall concept, and at the end of the day, if I just make sure to net a couple hundred above my BMR, I should be okay.

I did. I like the idea of specifically trying to eat back my exercise calories, where it's not always consistent... Trick is, I occasionally do get to the gym on days off, or if I work a short OT shift, that's another hour of sweat n tears :p

I'll keep on here and keep tracking. Even when I get my weight/body fat down, I'll still have goals. If I track, I'll avoid falling into the same mistakes, and I can push my endurance/strength training up a notch.

If you work your muscles to exhaustion, you will gain strength.

Great workout. If you've got dodgy knees, you may need to replace a few things but the program itself seems very solid. I've done it a few times, but I'm not really following the schedule. Lot's of hopping stuff.

Honestly, you should just check out the group. Even if you don't stay, it's better to get it from the horses mouth. If you get all of the information there, and are still skeptical, maybe it's not for you? But I can tell you, people on here who are bashing it are kind of skewering the idea. For example, I have a lightly…

I know a lot of people who will do light stretching or yoga on their 'rest days'. Something that will give them activity, but not tax them too badly. I suck at Yoga, so I generally just eat a bag of skittles.

Somehow I manage to burn more calories playing guitar than lifting weights. Seems fishy to me....

I added you. You can look forward to me trying to pass everything I possibly can off as exercise. Walking up the stairs. 8 calories burned.

I eat 2300. I make the nom nom nom noise the whole time.

I've done it a handful of times. A lot of the jumping stuff bothers my dodgy knee, and I'm certainly not doing the entire system. But I've done pure cardio and cardio recovery as an alternative to straight jogging.

Looks like you're been working your *kitten* off. Are you noticing that you're losing less size, than weight? I guess in terms of feeling smaller, or losing inches against actual weight lost?

I'm quite enjoying this group as well. Seems like a lot of great info floating around.

I too, am from Eastern Canada... And.. on this website.

Been away from BJJ for 2 years, but had trained for 4 years before that and attained my blue belt. Only 20 lbs overweight, but my stamina and flexibility is GONE!

I am back. With back fat. And a baby.
