Our boy is just over 12 months, he's been off teething for a couple months but I think another one is coming in. We give him Tylenol and the chilled water toys, seems to have him do okay. But he's been good about sleeping through the night, for the most part. Aside from his bout with a cold, he generally sleeps 8-7.

If you have trouble lifting 20 lbs, it's heavy. Everyone starts somewhere.

Trying to get back into BJJ now, thinking it will help motivate me on keeping my eating clean. Been training on the side with some old training partners, and what I've lost, is coming back slooooowly. Hopefully being a little older and wiser will let me approach training smarter his time around. :)

You won't get bulked up like a body builder unless you put in rediculous effort towards that specific goal. Even most guys have to bust their *kitten* to get bulky. Just give it a shot, if you do it for a month or two and don't like the results - stop. :)

Er, I mean, Nova Scotia.

Haha, found you.

May. Probably in after dark working on their wrist curls.

We'll just carry that post over. And this will count for March. That being done, I'm taking a vacation until April to eat fried chicken.

I think you're wrong. I think she's fishing for pity. A thread complaining about people being mean. One person throws out a comment which makes a boat load of sense. So let's all jump on her and call her names. It's not mean, it's justified because she doesn't agree with us. You need to push yourself before anyone else can…

Yeah. I'm still fat. And I have a ****ing baby.

I had absolutely no desire to have children whatsoever. I have two Nieces and a Nephew whom I adore. Then my girlfriend became pregnant, and the little ****er started kicking me from inside her stomach. I love the little man now, I live for him. Best thing that has ever, or will ever happen to me. My Aunt keeps asking me…

I've always had this sort of imbalance in my biceps. My left bicep is quite a good bit bigger than my right, but my right is little bit stronger. I tried to correct it before by going really heavy with right hand curls, but it didn't seem to do the trick so I said F it.

If you can, try to get someone you know to show you. Even then they take a lot of getting used to. And as others have said, don't worry about hulking up. Lot's of guys lift as heavy as possible, and most of us have trouble accidentally hulking up as it is :p

Why do you hate walking? Is it just that you find it boring? My suggestion would be to attempt intervals. Walk for 30 seconds, jog for 30 seconds. Rinse, repeat. You'll get a good heart rate boost if you really push yourself during the jog/run portion. The catch being that you need to REALLY push yourself. That along with…

I do not believe this happened.

I trained for 5 years straight, 4-5 times a week. Then I stopped due to injury and that was 4 years ago. I'm dipping my toe back in the pond once or twice a month, but have yet to jump right back into it.

This is not a new object, they were, at least at one point, in wide use amongst 'serious' weightlifters and body builders. You won't see them at your posh fitness clubs, however. Are they smart? No ****ing idea lol. I actually own one, but haven't used it in years.

It's a variation that originated in Brazil, hence why it's called Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I don't see the big deal. I've seen styles advertised as 'American Karate', but hey, Karate isn't from America! And it's getting to the point that people train mixed martial arts specifically, without a focus on a single art. I do agree…

Have you ever boxed or kickboxed before? I always found the best way was to try and act as if I was sparring, throw structured combos. You could also try using Bas Rutten's tapes. The boxing ones alone would be a great workout. I think they were meant for shadowboxing, but with a bag htey work too.

Is it because you get dizzy? Head movement? Maybe try some reverse crunches and planks?
-
Feel free to cut someone off because you don't approve of their methods, but to do so and post about it makes you look somewhat egotistical.

Nothing works for everyone. Some people won't have success at this, for a variety of reasons. I like this approach, eating too little was making me miserable and having the energy to do weights everyday is great. But some people won't be able to make this work.
-
I'd say a little pumped up/water weight from the lifting.

I find lifting MUCH more enjoyable than cardio. That being said, I've been going really light the last couple of months. No big lifts. Started last week building my workouts around bench, squats and deadlifts. Feeling inflated, but I feel like this is certainly a step in the right direction. Stick with it dude, throwing…

I eat between 2000-2300 a day. I can eat about 2500 a day without maintaining, before exercise comes in. This works. I ate 1400 a day for a week. It did not work, I felt like ****. Eating 600-800 calories... That's eating disorder territory. Do not do that.

Man, women are terrible. You're an adult, why are you bothered by someone being 'mean' to you behind your back? Grow up, move on. Why is she a factor in your life?
-
I won't hit you over the head, but 1200 calories doesn't seem like much. Speak to someone who would know, but listen to your body. If you're hungry all the time and unhappy you are not eating enough.

I was logging guitar playing for awhile, but then I realized... Why? I'll log when I'm exercising to exercise, but logging 30 minutes of guitar playing seems to be reaching too much. You could log sex, but as others would say, it seems like you're trying to make your diary look better than it actually is.

I have a blue belt in BJJ, but I've only trained a handful of times in the last 3 years. The last time it was with a very good blue belt, a very good wrestler and an absolute novice. I did fine with the novice, split about even with the wrestler (he crushed me while on top, I eked by while he was on bottom) and was worked…

I've been doing a few work outs here and there with people I work with. It seems like a good system, I don't have the time to do the system flat out in addition to my weight training. It's like anything else though, if you put effort into it, it' seems like it'll be a great system. If you half *kitten* it, you'll get a…
