I wouldn't say it's futile, especially since the whole key to weight loss is calories in vs. calories out. You can burn quite a bit of calories doing cardio. Yeah it's crazy! I usually gain 2-4lbs the week before my period and by the last day of my period I usually have lost the water weight, and my usual 1/2-1 lb week loss as well. So I don't weight myself that week before my period because I'm bigger then. It's soooo irritating :mad:

Idk, has she asked for your help? I know it's gotta be hard watching your friend be very unhealthy when you know she's unhappy with it. Perhaps you could invite her to eat with you or go grocery shopping with you. If she sees you making healthy choices maybe she'll decide to make them too.

You are very brave to post this! It is a shock how many calories are in a lot of the foods we eat. What's even more crazy are the foods we THINK are healthy so we eat those and really they are full of calories because of all the sugar , carbs, and fats. It's crazy really.

Yeah i eat a lot of almond butter, and try to keep it as natural as possible. But if i run out and all we have left in the house is store brand peanut butter, i will happily eat that as well.
