I've been contemplating one, but I hear you have to pay a $50 fee per year? I looked into Body Fit but their's is about $70 per year! Then as one of the previous posters said, what if you learn all your daily activity, doesn't it become essentially useless? I want one, but can't afford it with annual fees, etc.

Don't get discouraged! I went up 2 inches in waist and almost 2 in hips, and 3 in bust. Now a week later my bust is back down 3 and my hips/waist are down 2.5. Just keep with it. I think you started right around same time I did ? (4/9)

Uh the day carbs go below 100 for me, will be the day I am 6 foot under. I can't help but not eat carbs. I eat fruit, and other things that have carbs in them. Instead of thinking of it as a diet, think of it as a lifestyle change. You don't have to give up sweets, candy, chips, soda, etc unless you are confident that you will no longer want them the rest of your life. For me, it's near impossible. I tried to eat yesterday during the day but I was still sick. I felt much better in the afternoon/evening hence the huge dinner. I use before always. Also, if you don't want to put raw meat on the scale, use a piece of plastic, a tupperware container, etc. I weigh most of my food on a melamine plate used solely for weighing raw meat.
