Does anyone feel like verifying mine? I have a feeling that I am eating too few calories (even though I am eating 1800, I'm not netting 1800 but 4 days per week...My diary is open) Age: 28 Height: 64 inches Weight 203.2 Goal 140 Body Fat: 47.3% BMR: Katch-McArdle: 1421 Moderate: 2221 Now, my confusion is that I say 75% of…

Mine is open. I could honestly care less if someone wants to pick about my diary. In fact, I welcome it. I've learned a lot the past 2 months and enjoy seeing myself grow as an individual. Part of the learning process is to accept that my past way of eating sucked!

I don't think I'd bring the dog, IMO. I started that and let me tell you, it was a disaster! Every other minute we had to pee or sniff. The 2nd week I joined the gym and never took the dogs again. I'll walk them now, but I refuse to run with them. Of course mine are the kind of dogs that go freaking crazy because they are…

I'll do it with you. I started and was on week 6 2 weeks ago, but I got really sick at the gym. Then the next few days were awful leg cramps. I finally went to the Dr and found I have a potassium deficient. So I was cleared to resume working out yesterday (but I mowed grass for 6 hours so uh was not going to run). Whole…

I say give the mare back. It doesn't sound like you enjoy this type of ride, and I am a firm believer in that riding should be enjoyable. I'm sorry to see you in this situation. I would also say to test the other mare, just to make sure she's the same as you remember her. Remember, horses do change sometimes. Good luck…

It may be "healthier" if you have cholesterol problems, but if you don't just eat the real thing!

No idea about it. I have such a hard time believing all these diet pills/drinks/bars/etc that claim to help you lose weight. If you follow a pattern of healthy eating you should lose weight alone. Add in some exercise and there you go :) I lost 3lbs last two weeks with no exercise and I ate cheesecake, and other assorted…

I love anything pretty much. Well except spiders, snakes and rats. So as long as my chore doesn't involve one of them I'm good! I love stall cleaning the best. There is nothing more that I enjoy seeing than a spotless stall filled with clean fresh shavings, a rack filled with hay and clean water buckets. Unfortunately I…

Yes, my diary is public, and I will send you a request. I am tired of the awesomes and wtg when people just don't even look! I am consistently under and it's killing me. I think I eat pretty darn good (a few days here and there) I don't eat much junk (as high sugar/etc, but maybe some of what I think is healthy is truly…

Won't let me edit, but I just read that net is calories- exercise= net. So like yesterday I ate 1,667 but I burned 865 from exercise, so I only consumed 802? Crap!

I am working on protein. I found a protein powder that looks like it will work for me, so going to get it and start using it. I'm a bit confused on the eating out part? AFAIK I have ate out a small handful of times. In the very beginning ( Ihop/cheesecake factory and vow never to go that crazy again) and just recently…

Thank you! I generally am not too good about logging my water. I drink 2 32 oz bottles of water (at least) a day. On days I do cardio I generally consume another full bottle :) Yes, I need to find alternatives to the butter and mayo :( I use the butter to saute my spinach in as I ran out of the cooking oil I was using. I…

Great job!

Why not go for a nice walk? A nice brisk walk can be quite beneficial. I started last August just walking 3 miles a day (on a gravel uphill road) twice per day. I now work out at the gym but I still walk once a day.

I absolutely LOVE the app, because it has the option for you to scan the barcode of the item. So much fun, and so easy (IE a luna bar or packaged spinach :) )

Thank you!

I'm confused. The SunWarrior that was posted has hemp in it, and I'm able to get it at a natural foods store 1.5 hours away. Or is it just pure hemp that is banned? I will check both of those out and see. As I said, taste does not matter to me. I'd prefer it doesn't taste disgusting, but I need a way to increase my…

Obviously, I am discovering that now...

<sigh> Yes, I am allergic. We have tried (with my doctor's supervision in the office) different types of sweeteners to determine severity. We tried Splenda, reaction happened. A few weeks later we tried Aspartame, again reaction. I have had numerous tests done in regards to this. I'm allergic to few other things food…

I'll look into Sun Warrior, Thanks! I understand Stevia is not artificial, but that is the one I am allergic to the most. It's not fun, and you don't realize how much stuff has Stevia or artificial sugars until you are allergic...

I don't care about flavor, as I planned of making it into a smoothie of some sort. However, even unflavored ones I saw still had sucralose. It was last on the list, so I would assume a minor amount, but I can't have any at all. FWIW I have been searching some out on Amazon, but I'm not having luck. I'm going to try adding…

Thanks! This is exactly what I am looking for, now only if I can find it in the US :)

I have no idea, but the horse I ride makes me feel like I just ran a million miles. He requires steady leg to keep going, and is a workout! He's a great horse, and I love him to death, but man I will never get an easy day when I am riding him! I don't count my riding as exercise, merely because I don't have a HRM. WIthout…

One thing I learned recently is that MFP over estimates the calories burned. The only way to get the true calories burned is with a heart rate monitor. What bout doing some brief sprints with the dog? I used to run with mine, but she was diagnosed with CHF and is no longer allowed strenuous activity :(

I read this earlier, but since I was headed to the gym, I wanted to check it out on the treadmill for you! 3.0- Slow walk, Walking the dog speed definitely. 4.0 brisk walk (to me) is that point where I am almost needing to run. I generally start at 4.5 mph for a few seconds and then get to 5.0. I would say its definitely…

I recently quit on February 3rd. I tried so many other times, but failed miserably. What really got me is my doctor telling me I had the lungs of an 85 year old woman (and I'm 27!!!). That was it, I was done. I went and visited my SO 2 weeks after I quit. I thought in my head that it was going to be extremely hard and that…
