Slow your run or what ever cardio you are doing and raise your arms above your head, take a few deep breathes. I am not that coordinated, so I usually slow to a walk or step off to do this. HOWEVER, like everyone else said - if it continues - go see a Doc. The "no pain - no gain" motto is not really correct, exercise…

Hey Littlespoon! I get super bored on the treadmill, elliptical, or bikes. I am always messing with the buttons (more incline or difficulty) faster/slower speeds, which in turns makes my cardio work out a varying heart rate program. A few trainers gave me varied opinions - one opinion was stay with a constant - the other…

Good Luck! This is a great site to get motivated, keep track of your progress and find advise and pointers. For me, logging food and exercise has been key. I had no idea how much I was taking in and not burning off until I took into account what I was really eating, when and how much. It was an eye opener! :glasses:

Check the label before you buy, but most of them have "nothing" in them: 100% carbonated water and natural flavor. It is no Sunkist orange soda or shasta, but they did the trick for me (after I got used to them). Also, many times…

Banks is 100% right - I made this mistake when I first started my exercise regiment. Your core is amazing and there are tons of exercises you can do to strengthen the core. Don't focus on just sit-ups (like Banks says, they can hurt you if overdone or not properly done and sit-ups don't focus on all your ab muscles) I have…

OK - I figured out how to add foods with the correct info (adding foods not in the database that is) and learned how to share them on the site and save them to "my foods" so I can just do a click/add when I eat.... BUT, I cannot figure out how to add exercises that are not in the database. Also, I am guessing I will need…

I have lost 25# and have come to a plateau :noway: . Looking for some help getting the last 10-15 off and this may do the trick (I hope)! I try to exercise as much as I can (at least 3x a week at the gym) but food is my major down fall. What I eat has changed a lot, the quantity of food has not  Hoping the…
